Ok, I am kinda addicted to buying games. I have to buy at least 2 a month, and it's 1 per week a lot of the time. I only get so much time to play and a lot of the time I know I probably won't bother finishing it but I cannot help myself. There is just something beautifull about a nice neat pile of games sitting on a desk.
Anyhow, does anyone else have a number of unfinished games just sitting there that you will probably never get to for whatever reason?
My list (I will miss quite a few):
All the GTA games
The entire Orange Box (apart from Portal)
Mass Effect 1 & 2
Fallout 3
Dragon Age 1 & 2
Castlevania, LOS
Gears of War3
Assassins Creed 1 & 2
Crysis2
Far Cry 2
Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare
Street Fighter 4: AE (finished arcade mode with 2 out of the characters)
Marvel V Capcom (maybe about 5 characters)
Not at home so cannot think what others right now.

Dead Rising 2. I've destroyed Dead Rising 1, and practically gotten all of the achievements. I loved it, but when I play Dead Rising 2 I kind of don't feel it. I like Chuck Greene as a character, but I just thought Frank West and the Willamette Mall was a better setting no matter how unoriginal it was.
I'll still want to complete the game...eventually.

Yeah, see the thing for me is there are too many side missions/ random things to do in GTA. I get caught up in that stuff and never get on with the main story. Then after being asked to go bowling like a 100 times I get bored. (I feel too bad to say no to my cousin)

Ah snap! One I forgot about. That shit just got way too tedious after a while.

Ocarina of Time.
I bought that game second hand a couple years ago, and found out that 3D Zelda is not for me. But I still love LttP and Link's Awakening.

Limbo, Perfect Dark, Catlevania: LoS, Orange Box, Tomb Raider: Underworld, Donkey Kong Country, all the 2D Mario games, Timesplitters 2, Red Dead Redemption, Prototype and I'm sure there are more. Ok, time for cake.
There's a ton of games I own and still haven't beaten... For one reason too... School.
I can't bring the Wii, even though it's not mine it's basically my dad's since we bought it for him though it's a family system of all of us, so I can't beat Epic Mickey or beat Luigi's quests in Mario Galaxy.
I finally managed to beat Flying Fox in Heavenly Sword and up to the last boss but he's fucking hard has hell so I decided when I'm in the Heavenly mood, I'll play that again.
Didn't beat all 300 challenges in MK2011
Haven't really touched too much of Resident Evil 5
I have to replay all of the games I did beat because my brother decided to have the PS3 hacked for a little bit and realized that it was garbage because you can't play any games that needs an upgrade otherwise the hack will be useless so it deleted the entire memory of the system leaving me with unbeaten games that have already been beaten.
School is preventing me to play for a bit because it's finals time.

I have this problem with the Final Fantasy series. I love the games, but for some reason I only played them up to a certain point, then I play something else and it could be months before I return to FF.
I'm currently 25 hours into FFXIII and I haven't played it in almost two months.

Blood Omen 2, I was on the last level but invincible creatures scared me so I never finished it. Now I'm too lazy to play it again.

Let's see...
That's all I can think of right now.
- FF7
- Oblivion
- F.E.A.R. 1 (and it's expansion packs)
- Silent Hill 2 (slowly working on it)
- Silent Hill: Homecoming (wanted to finish it before I finish 2 for a little experiment)
- Crono Trigger (also slowly working on it)
- MegaMan8
- Casper (the movie tie in for PS1)
- GTA 3 and Vice City
- RE2 & RE3 (I start playing them, then stop, and when I come back to it I can't remember what I was doing and have to start over.
- RE:Outbreak 2 (or I should say I havent finished all the levels)
- Mercenaries 1
- Star Wars Force Unleashed (for DS and it sucks)
- Fallout New Vegas (once again working at it)
That's all I can think of right now.

Assassin's Creed II
Street Fighter IV

Borderlands: GOTY
XBLA:
Perfect Dark
Quake Arena Arcade
Serious Sam
MK Arcade Kollection
Now I haven't finished these games due to my Xbox being broken, I haven't gone around to replacing it.

Resident Evil 4 - Got stuck at the part with the trucks coming down the tunnel (before Krauser button cutscene), and the commando ganados. Don't have enough ammo, don't feel like backtracking to the merchant, and don't like the game enough to bother with it.
I haven't played the game in... 3 years or more.
LoZ: Majora's Mask - Working slowly at beating the damn Great Bay Temple. Have all but 2 or 3 of the sidequest masks, though. Love the game to death.
Folklore - Very long-winded and flawed, though fun. You have to play through every stage twice, with slightly different enemies, and folks at your disposal. Takes a very long time to get into. (I got to the HellRealm level, and restarted just because)
Lost Kingdoms - Got to the final boss, though you have to fight two difficult bosses in a row. The only way you can regain your lost cards is to use a Rheesus card (or some other rare ones), though you'll have to drop half your damn deck to get to it. The final boss can kill any of your free-roaming cards in a hit or two, and turn them against you.
Quite frustrating.
The Elder Scroll II: Daggerfall - Got through a few of the main quests, some Daedra quests, and coven quests. My Windows 95 computer broke, and away my hard work went.. *sob*
Clock Tower 3 - At the final boss, and died about 6 times already. Your character sucks, uses a stupid charging bow, and moves at the speed of a dead horse. You can die in three hits if you mess up your timing (in ducking.) Bullshit fake difficulty.
Demon's Souls - Need I say why?
Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly - Hate the controls, and despise the combat system. They programmed it so you'd die as much as humanly possible... It's a creepy game, but it's stiff and very unforgiving.

Tons, but I'll just list a few, looking at the shelf of games beside me.
Resident Evil 4 - In short, I suck. Couldn't beat one of the earlier bosses and ragequit for years.
Dead Rising - Controls are sluggish and awful. It's just not very fun.
Lost Kingdoms - I think I just couldn't beat the last boss for some reason. If I had the cables for my Gamecube, I might try this game again... It's been like 7 years since I've even touched it.
Super Mario Sunshine
Mass Effect
Halo

Lol at RE4. You can do it man. check out a youtube video! Wierd, once I touched ME1, I never stopped until they both were complete.
My games:
Dark Void
Darksiders
Dead Space 2
Devil May Cry 3
The Orange Box
Aliens vs Predator
Shadows of the Damned
Ninja Gaiden Sigma
I will get down to it. I plan on eliminating every one of these games this winter.
GTA IV: Too realistic for me. Plus I could never get into the driving controls and continuously taking Roman out on brodates.
Darksiders: As much as I really wanted to like it and I enjoyed the setting/plot, but I just could not get into it.
Need for Speed/Forza games: Too repetitive.

Sonic and The Black Knight: Why oh why did Sega make a game with a cool setting and graphics, but make the controls so horrid, the level design is so bad that clearing levels almost adds up to luck and not actual skill, it's the one Sonic game I have never bothered to beat or play again.
Legend of the Dragon such a stupid fighting game, crap controls, crap experience, no reason to play it more than once, it will stay collecting dust on my media shelf.
Aside from those two, I have completed every single game I have owned and nowadays I've only bought games I know I will like.
Which boss? I might be able to help. I loved RE4. It had a ton of fun boss battles, my favorite had to have been the first El Gigante and the other was.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.
I played that game through riiiight near the very end, and went to bed just before beating it, deciding I'll beat it after school. I get home from school the next day, and my house had been broken into, all my games stolen.
So disappointing.
