I reserved my copy already. I'll probably only play the single player campaign though, it seems nobody really plays MP the way the game was designed to be played.

The game is already getting strong reviews. Both GameInformer & Gamespot gave it a 9.5. Gamespot says it has very good story telling.

I plan to. Soon as I acquire a job.

4 player co-op and I know a bunch of people who own GOW 2.

I loved the first 2.

But I'll confess, I'm not going to buy the game any time soon. I was at the midnight launch of Gears 2, but this one I'm waiting it out on.

Why? Ugh, so many good games came out. I'm STILL working my way through Deus Ex, for starters.

I'm sure it'll be fantastic, cheesy, bloody, and enjoyable... but just don't feel the "gotta pre-order and wait for it at midnight" vibe I did for Gears 2.

Gears of War series is the only thing that makes me regret switching platforms. Well that and the Xbox Live interface. PSN is just subpar (no voice chat? REALLY!?!)

Gears 3 looks pretty damn fun though.

I just pre-ordered mine today.

I'm gonna play story mode before anything else, though.

I'm pretty sure story mode is 4 player this time around, though....

That's the PS3's RAM limit rather than PSN.

This will be a first day buy for me no doubt. More excited for the multiplayer than the story though. New horde mode looks like a blast.

Gears of War 3 looks good but it's still pretty much gears. Nothing to spectacular. I sold my 360 today for $200.00 and I owned gears 1 & 2. I don't think gears 3 will last long once MW3 drops.

There's voice chat. I own both, just letting you know there's voice chat. It's just not as easy as "hit a button" looking as the Dashboard.

did anyone watch occ with the gears of war 3 bike. it was pretty sweet. i was watching it last night. they had a gattiling gun on it and everything. it was cool.

you should check it out when you have the chance. there even thinking about putting the bike into the game.
