Hey guys whats up...arguably GTA is one of the most popular game series of all time and even with the recent wave of look-a-likes (ive played and beated them all) nothing has ever given me the thrill to kill as GTA (cept Manhunt) so what do u guys wana see in the next game???I read the newest Game Informer and it had a 10-page story on it and i hafta admit i was blown away...your thoughts on GTA or Driver, Getaway, True Crime, Mafia, and/or the Italian job or there upcoming sequels??? Or even some new titles like Interview with a Made Man and the Last Job as well as 25 to LIfe...
I don't like any of them that much. If Rockstar would stop making their games such shit, I'd play GTA a lot more. Their stories and ideas are fine, but their execution is very poor. There are far too many glitches in GTA3 and Vice City. If they spend just a bit more time on this next one, it may just escape the curse that plagued the last ones.
Although, what little I played of Manhunt I enjoyed. I even have the soundtrack.

I liked GTA 3 & VC, but never cared to play the older GTAs (top-down camera view sux).
Me two. I was suprised it had IronMaiden's too minutes to midnight, 'cause I never heard the song in the game.

yea but look at the revolution GTA has caused...look at Tony Hawks Underground, Simpsons Hit and Run, you know games that arent even crime-based but borrow alot of concepts from Rockstars games...also not all of there games suck, Smugglers Run, Midnight Club Racing, were fantastic and Manhunt put any RE or Silent Hill to shame...also GTAs 1 and 2, and LOndon 1969 are all very good, i have them and i like them.

Not too mention State of Emergency (not too great but 'different') and Red Dead Revolver. This game is great.

Not a bad thing, as I wish more games were more like Max Payne. Red Dead is an excellent game.
As for the 'free roaming' environments, did you know the new SpiderMan 2 game is going to have this feature. While you aren't doing the 'missions' you can swing around the city and stop anything you see going on like robberies and stuff.
Agreed about the glitches, at least in VC (haven't played 3 yet). In my 19 hours of play, I have found my car stuck to the ground, myself stuck in three walls, fused to my own bike, the Malibu Club going all glitchy and neon and geen on me, and a garage ate 4 of my cars.

It use to be good but this new one looks bad. It doesnt matter cause it is getting old and getting fat is not going ot make me buy it, and ive already gotten into the mobster to gansta change. the only thing that can save it for me is to wait and put it on PS3 or bring it online. imagne it online. you could create a character (a wwe type CAC not a tony hawk type CAC). there could be i think 50 people each game would fit, not to much and not to little if it is a good sized city. you could have clans and you could work your way up to become a mob boss (the best there is). you could be on top, but have alot of people put you on there hit list so they can be on top.weapons could be more expensive and money would be harder to get so it can play a bigger part in the mob world. you would have to pay your men (which would be real people in your clan) to do stuff for you. you could have your men drive you places (if the people online are wiling to do that for you for higher pay). you could have your men kill people from a rival clan and get any money they are carrying around ( there would be a personal stash like diablo to hold your stuff). you would stay in jail until your men bust you out, or if you dont have a clan, just exit the game. you would have a cell phone to stay in touch with people. you could destroy buildings and they will be rebuilt (it would be really hard to destroy them) there would be random weather and random road work that could make or break a police or shootout run. oh the possibilities are endless. what owuld yall like to see in an online GTA.

Once again i have been lied to, this thread isn't official........u should be beaten with a stick
can't wait for GTA : San Andreas that will be kick ass! Hyuga u have 11909 visits FUCK i don't think i have lived long enough to do that!!!
Oh great, another official thread. At least this is about something very cool....
Anyhoo, I beat both GTA3 and Vice City on the XBOX, plus Vice City on PS2. I was bored with the XBOX Vice City without any missions, so I started another game.
I just end up turning off the game real fast without anything else to do.

Grant Theft Auto is one of my favorite games. I'm patiently waiting for San Andreas to be released so that I could beat that game also. I agree that the Grand Theft Auto series should be able to go online. There will be some problems faced though if that were to happen. If I were walking down the street in Grand Theft Auto Online, I would get shot before I could walk around the block. Even If I were to drive a car a reckless player would purposley crash their vehicle into mine. If these problems were to be fixed, Grand Theft Auto would be an awsome game to play online.
I really love GTA3 and Vice City, because it's ultimate stress relief. Someone pisses you off, kill 10,000 people with a rocket launcher. Or even better, kill 10,000 people with a baseball bat!
What's not to love?
Also, I totally dig the radio stations, especially the talk radio. San Andreas is definitely on my list of upcoming games to get.

Since I haven't seen Jade in a long time, I will personally rip out anyones insides who bashes Max Payne.
Also, Manhunt. Don't talk shit on Manhunt.
j/k I really liked Manhunt and Max Payne (1 & 2) but to each their own.
