I want something that has 20-30GB memory, has easy to use, intuitive software, and I'd like to keep it under $350. If it's a model that you own that you can personally vouch for, that's a plus. Thanks! grin

At the risk of sounding like an Apple fanboy...

As far as I can tell you, your best bet would most likely be the Apple iPod. There's a 15 GB model for $300, and a 20 GB model for $400. The interface on the unit itself is simple and intuitive, and the iTunes software makes it easy to sync the device with your MP3 library. I have the 40 GB model, myself, and it works great for me.

(It's also helped me out of more than one bind considering it can also act as a portable hard drive...)

You can read more about it here.

Hope this helps...

The Rio Karma has 20GB of memory and it's under $250. Rio's are good shit.

From what I've heard, the iPod is considered on the lower end of quality for MP3 players, even now after they've resolved the battery issue.

I suggest a Rio or iRiver.

I also have a YEPP, it runs off on AAA battery that lasts about 10 hours or so.

I like the IPOD, but I haven't used them heavily enough to know the in's and outs.

I dunno what u plan on using it for or how much u wanna spend, but I really like the way the NIKE one looks...tho I've never used it.

Thanks for all your input. Right now I'm split between the 256MB iRiver and the 1.5GB Rio Nitrus. I want more memory, but I am doubtful about having a HD vs. flash. This is definitely gonna take a while confused
