I feel you man, I still get it just as much, earlier on I got it when only 34 people was on...

Its happening to me as i type this its driving me crazy.

The traffic is one thing due to the recent news updates. But yeah, I'm getting hung up while there's only 30 or so people on as well.

MKO seriously gotta move to a server that can hold many users. This is driving me crazy. It's just ridiculous.

I don't have a credit card. But if you give me an address, I'll be glad to chip in a few bucks.

Its really bad at night sometimes I get it when theres 30 or so but mostly when theres 50-60+ its really bad then and this mostly in late afternoon-night like 6-12 est. Its really beginnig to annoy me especially when the site was down for 3 days.

I always get server is busy messages

One time the server was so busy, it kicked everybody out at once and then I went on it.

the experience has been the same, if not worse... what exactly was upgraded? i think it might be that more people can be on at a time, but this doesn't fix anything, because more people flood in and the server still gets tied up

It's worse than ever. I hate it! The amount of times I've seen the busy server message is ridiculous. I'm sick of it! There are so many threads which I want to post to or have a look at and I can't do so because of this infernal server!

Yeah, it really gets on my nerves; Everytime you click a link you get that imfamous "Server is busy" message. And having to wait so long when when clicking a link and waiting for the page to load.

On the info tab, you supposedly can contact the web administrators to report problems. Well, I did this and got no response. So don't expect the problem to go away anytime soon. I'm not giving the MKO team a bad name. I'm just saying......maybe they are too busy to try to eliminate the problem immediately. Some members have said that it helps to use a different internet server i.e., mozilla, netscape, etc. The only difference that I noticed by doing this is I can now see all of the icons. But it is still slow. Just have to be patient.

but uh, when the site came back, for about the first three days, it never came up, it all worked out fine.

then when i got a pm by tomtaz, i clicked on it... it loaded up fine, after a minute or two (which is logn... on the internet... AND ON BROADBAND!!!), then i read it, then i clicked reply, now, it took before a minute or so to load up, then poof, one second after i clicked "server is busy", and it just gets worse and worse, and its all mortal kombat: deception's fault though.

bleh, but it does'nt matter, as long as im still able to get on the site is all, even if the server is... disgustingly shitty LMAO.

For some weird reason, writing quote marks in the subject deletes everything beyond it. Weird.
About the server, it's really weird. What happened? It's slower then before. Actually, i had'nt seen the server is busy message till after the upgrade...Odd.

Yeah, it definately seems slower than before. I do notice a slight increase in traffic capacity, though.

It's still pretty bad. Sometimes I got to wait awhile to get to a thread that I want to reply in, then it says Server Is Busy, just as tgrant said. But I still come to the site everyday that I can get on!

Yeah it hasn't really changed since the upgrade at all.

I honestly don't notice any difference since I keep getting just as many "Server Is Busy" messages as I did before the weekend MKO was down.

Oh well.

I'm on Netcape now and the only problem that solved was icons + pictures loading, it doesn't have any effect on the server.

My guess is the upgrade was to add something, but as with everything that's already having problems when you add more the problem gets worse.

Hopefully it'll get better before October when the legions of new people join just as Deception is released.

I agree. Firefox is the browser for those who want actual performance out of their internet access.

It's been pretty bad lately with all the news we've been getting hotshotting the traffic around here (it may say there's 60 people or so, but those are only the ones logged in...it's the people just coming for the news that are doing it), but it's not nearly as bad as it was during E3. Not yet, anyway. When the game comes out and people start posting Fatalities, it may become unbearable though.

not only that how many ppl here have been doing the double posting by accident?? like u try to type sumthin then u press submit and then it sez server busy try again, and then u do and u end up with 2 of the same posts!!! ITS WALLHAX!!!

before the server update it was saying server is busy when there were like 45 people online.. now it says it when there r around 60-65... in a way it is better because more people can log on,but regardless the problem is still there.. but im not gonna complain.. their doing their best im satisfied w/ that..!!

Yea man i can just imagine it in October its going to be insane.Its going to be challege just to get on the site at that time.I have a hard time getting on this site when theres only 40 people online.October there will be over 60 people at least its going to be a madhouse.

It's been the shitiest ever, im on broadband @ 512, and even with 25 ppl it fucking told me there was a busy server, I asked DAB about what has happened in the mIRC, no answer.
