I've been a die-hard fan of Mortal Kombat since it came out in 92' when i was 7. I was obsessed with it. And i was instantly drawn to the ninjas!
I'll tell you, Between my memories of trying to get to Reptile in MK1 and the Green Ranger from the "Mighty Morphing Power Rangers", The Green Goblin and the Incredible Hulk, There's no wonder why Green is my absolute favorite color.
Though i'm sure no one was interested in knowing that.

The year i graduated high school. i worked in an arcade part time the make some extra cash. (it was pretty much my dream job)
The year was 1992. I rememeber showing up for work one night and they were unloading some new games from the truck. a couple pinball machines and an arcade cabinet that made me laugh my ass off cause they spelled combat wrong. Little did i know at the time . but that was the beginning of my addiction. 5 games and a few alt versions later, and i still cant get enough.
MK 4 LIFE!
PS: i even bought a bloody 32X so i could play what i thought was the best version of MK2 at the time. :(

I remember first seeing it in some off-beat, redneck type bar, just a quick glimpse.. I saw some dude playing scorpion and he did his fatality on Sonya, and my exact words were "Whoa, he just lit that chick on fire, that was F'in Cool!" and then it appeared in my local arcade a couple weeks later. Saw the game action in play and saw Sub-Zero's fatality... have been hooked ever since!

Why the hell did you bump a thread that hadn't received any replies in over 3 months?? More importantly, why's it still open??
P.S. LOL, to be perfectly honest, I ALMOST posted my answer before I saw my post in the first page

Ever since MK1 came out, i remember playing it in an arcade in Mexico, when i got back home a cousin of mine gave it to me as a gift for the SNES. I think i was around 5 years old.
