So, by that logic anyone born in an English speaking country are also Germanic. Seeing as how English is a Germanic language because a lot of the words are taken from old German language. I don't want to turn this into a whole debate like the old post with a similar title.

To answer the original question: I'm Spanish. Both of my parent were born in Spain, and the liniage remains there. If you want to call me Hispanic go right ahead; but when asked I normally respond: Yes, I'm Spainsh.

the only different my man with latinos is that there is no term for germanic heritage as it is for latinos, when you apply the term latino you are taking about the LA countries as well as the classic latin heritage, the difference is that you don't say germanic to refer to all of the germanic heritage included the citizens of the USA.
