It was closed, mainly because it became one long conversation about everything. New threads were at a minimum, general discussion board more or less became a wasteland. At least that's how I interpreted it. Search for the thread. Mick posted his reasoning on the last page.

This place used to spike a lot in hostility and inactivity, there were a lot of days that I and, like, some 3 other guys would be the only users online for the day, so now it's nice to see more and more people, though I miss the old users that used to hang around, like Icebaby and some artists like Chrome and Arctic. Especially Arctic with those sprites we used to request and wait for so anxiously.

Umm, I don't even remember how long I've been here. 7 years, I guess? I just wanted to say I appreciate each and everyone of you that make this place go 'round yet. Nice to see death doesn't matter in MK and MKO.

OMG me too. I didn't realise we started around the same time, and this too is my first forum. I've since joined another mk forum (but i don't go there at all since i forgot the password) and a pokemon forum but that's really it.

I'm not going to be around much during April - I'm trying desperately to avoid as many spoilers as possible like story and fatalities etc. and i'll probably not be able to get the game until a few weeks after its release. Also, My internet connection has a mind of its own. Some days it's slow but ok, others it's just impossible.



Isn't that just the perfect metaphor for MKX's 'new generation' angle. Not only a new gen of MK, but MK fans, too.

So this site dies after the new games are released and get their DLC? That sucks. Been a MK fan since I was a toddler but never joined a site until MKX was announced and I started to enjoy being a user here. I have actually made a habit out of this site lol sucks for any of you that don't like me, because unless I get banned for some reason im not planning on going anywhere This site has become a regular for me

Lol tell me about it, when I moved back to the Chesapeake Bay area after high school I didn't have internet for a while, it sucked so bad lol
