IF the Microwave has some type of button that is like a defaulted 1 min cook, i think your best bet would be to tape something down to it very tightly that will depress the button. That way, as soon as you plug it in, it should automatically start. You could test this method at home to see if you can get it to work. Good luck with the anarchy.

When I was 14, I used to make little explosives all the time, almost always with bad results (My friend lost his hand thanks to me). But anyways, take some gunpowder, make a large pile of it inside the microwave, then make a trail to your hiding point. Just set it on fire and, VOILA, you have a destroyed microwave.

Hmmm, my point was not even turning the Microwave on. Just put a propane tank in, shoot it with a big gun, and it should blow up inside the microwave. You wouldn't even have to turn it on. Unless that's the point, in which case use a lot of metal, gun powder, and fireworks. (M-80's if they are legal in your state)
