Lol, but Toronto can be expensive too - *looks left, looks right, see's mkbuddy isn't here* everything costs more here than in other parts of Canada, well maybe not Alberta, but you guys still have no provincial tax, lucky bastards.
-I heard Alberta is very nice in terms of scenery (sp?) is it beautiful out there?
Oh yeah, if you love two or three giant cities surrounded by nothing but fields of wheat, Alberta's very picturesque. I suppose there's the mountains near Banff but it's been completely bought by the Japanese. On the plus side, I can buy anime there.
The only benefit of having no provincial tax is that we have to do less math, which is good because we're not the brightest bunch. 'course that could be all the bloody people who keep moving here from the rest of Canada.

Lol, not so beautiful then
LESS MATH, ima pack my bags right now! One thing I miss from good ol' England was that tax was INCLUDED in the price, if somthin was 9.99 you just had to get out a tenner, no whats ten percent then whats half of that, add em together, then add that number on top of the listed price blah blah blah bullshit.
At least your immigrants come from the rest of Canada, and not from everywhere around the world. I have no problem with immigrants, but many come here illegaly and cant speak English or French. There are enough non-productive members of society here already, we don't need more!

Bezou Wrote: Oh we have lots of the non-Canadian immigrants too, but it's not politically correct to call them stupid. |
Doesn't matter where someone comes from, if there stupid they need to know. One of the most annoying things is talking to a person who thinks they're smart, but in actuality they're bloody dumb! Not that I'm a genius (trust me, far from it

krsx66 Wrote: Dark_No0B is right Toronto is awesome, it's THE place to live in Canada. There is SOOOOO much to do here, plus it's realy easy to get around, by car or by the subway. If you move here, you will not regret it. The weather is great, the city is realy clean, and there's always the added bonus of having TONS of hot girls in this city. It's the most mutlicultural city on earth acording to the UN so there is literaly girls of every ethnicity - it's pretty crazy actualy. Ask me or Dark_No0B about Toronto, as we can answer any questions about the city you have. |
Nuff said right there. Toronto is definately the place to live in Canada. Its very multicultural so theres alot of hot chicks.
Its a HUGE area, and there are many awesome places you can go to. Niagra falls, Wonderland, Marineland, CN Tower, CNE, Ontario Land, L-Land, Skyscrapper, Jain and Finch mall, YorkDale mall, Square-1 mall, Pladium, Sherdon Mall, S-mall, ETC. I could keep going forever.
I've grew up and lived here all my life, and i love it.

As was previously mentioned, I'm from Canada. Nova Scotia to be specific.
Soooo...what did you want to know aboot, eh? The fact that we don't have running water? The cost of Igloo rentals? Care and feeding of Polar Bear? Icefishing prospects? Or how about that frien of yours named Bob up here?
Ok, I'll stop poking fun at things others like to say about my country now. Just because I said them doesn't mean others should, as some people don't like hearing them over and over...do they ]ombat?
lol
If there's anything else you want to know about that I might be able to help with, post it and I'll check in every so often.

HI, I to am Canadian. The cultural diversity of Canada is somewhat similar to that of the US. We have a mixture. Hell in Saskatchewan, which is where I live, we got just about a little of every culture here. As for Jobs, can't say it's easy to get a job in Sask, but the rest of the country has better luck getting work.
i will have my real estate liscense at the end of august so i was hoping to find a good company to work with up there for real estate. Are there good companys up that for real estate and is there anyone that has any connections to real estate in canada.

All you gotta do to find that info is just go to all the real estate agencies in the States online and check if they have Canadian connections. We got Century 21, Remax, etc.
ok and how much is it to send letter or packages to the US(ohio) because if someone would help me i would send them a couple bucks so that maybe someone could send me an apartment guide because it would be very helpful. Or if anyone wanted to help me around the city when i first got there

There's a multicultural mix here, same with various races and so on.
As for jobs? Depends where you are and what you want to do I guess. Here where I live, jobs are extremely hard to come by and you're lucky to even have a part time job let alone a full time job. I make crap wages doing manual labour.
