Um, the Bride was Black Mamba. Elle Driver was California Mountain Snake I believe, she got her eye taken out.

I loved the Kill Bill series to the max. The only thing I'd grype about is I wish they kept the deleted scene in it. The black guy Bill kills is the guy that played Spawn, he's a beast and I thought if they kept that in vol. 2 it would have connected the two better, ie. the over the top blood effect.

Both movies were amazing!

Tarantino is with out a doubt a genius in terms of movie direction. Both movies were amazing in their own aspects, and quite different at the same time.

In the first movie, you knew absolutely NOTHING about NOTHING. Only that she wanted revenge because of her daughter and the rest. You don’t even know her name! Its just a deep storyline with more action then anything in the world.

Amazing music must I add.

As for Kill Bill Vol. 2, now this is a masterpiece. So much depth into the story, so much character depth .it was just perfect. The fights were even better, but quick and fast.

With many unexpected endings.

It was just brilliant.

In this movie you discover everything you had no idea about in the first.

Kill Bill Vol.1-2 are my favorite movies of all time.

It's called dialogue, which is used to comunicate with others. It's used in movies to show conversation, and leads to such things as plot devices, drama, and characterization.

actually, I was very let down by Volume 2. I was pretty bored by it, I guess when you see the first one and expect the same "insanity" to take place in the second and it not happen is what did it. The whole movie I was waiting for a huge fight to take place and it never happened. I don't get with the filmmakers jumping into all the action the first movie and then using the sequal to explain the story more clearly, I mean why don't they just do that in the first place and come out with a more action based sequal.

The music in V.1 kicked ass, the actual movie was so-so. V.2 was crap. It was boring all the way through and the 40 minutes of dialogue between Bill and The Bride leading up to their "epic" 10 second fight scene was unforgivable.

I used to complain about Dragon Ball wasting too much time talking before fights. Never again.
i myself loved both movies, however i enjoyed the first one more because of all the fighting and decapitation going on. one thing i didn't really get was why all the flash backs. i myself was kinda having a hard time telling what was happening now and what was a flash back. like at the begining of the first one it shows her killing the character played by vivica a. fox(don't remember what her name was) and then it shows her marking her off the list. and the chinese woman was already marked off, but then they show her killing her later. it just confused me a little. but anyway they were both great movies. 5 out of 5 on Vol.1, 4 out of 5 on Vol.2

That's just the way Tarantino directers. He's done that in most of the stuff he's involved in.

I've seen Pulp Fiction and Samuel L. Jackson kicked ass in it and no I havent seen Resevior dogs. Maybe instead of "stretching" it out into to two movies and just making it one long one as his previous films it would have been better. As they say "If it ain't broke don't fix it"

i understand that Kill Bill is one movie that split into two parts but do we really need the petition??? does it really matter that we need to put them together in one dvd???

i mean, if we do that, why dont we put all three Lord of the Ring movies in one dvd since its only one movie that split into three parts...

Plz! It's one of my fave movies of all time. I have them both. I really do hope Tarantino allows a full version to be released with both volumes together as one full film. Vol. 1 also has one of my fave ever movie intros. Opening a film with a chick fight was genius! The first time you see the film and see that you're all 'WTF' but you're glued to the screen watching the action because it's just so awesome.

I love this film so much! When you can, check out Vol. 2 and see the kickass deleted scene with Bill. It rules!

Volume 2 is on Encore Saturday at 7:00pm I got it set up to record. This is my favorite movie of all time right now. Ive never been so wowed. I like the Yakuzza scenes, and the final battle with O-Ren Ichii (the beautiful Lucy Liu). The Anime sequence really blew me away too. Sountracking was perfect. The movie is excellent.
