I know what the 2nd movie was missing. It needed a scene like the one on the night of Orens leadership. The one where Takanumara smarts off to her, and she cuts his head off. Then she Pwns everybody at the meeting .

Not to be a spamtard here, but I forgot something. T-grant I havent seen the new scenes, because I was taping them on my TV off of Encore.

That scene owns!
The scene will Bill rocks. The way he kills the guy in it is really sweet, though the scene is somewhat cheesey. Lol!
As you know, I encourage you from time to time, always in respectful manner to question my logic. If your unconvenced a particular plan of action I have chosen isnt best, tell me so. I promise you right now no subject will be taboo. Except of course the subject that was just under discussion. The price you pay for speaking of Kill Bill or Kill Bill 2 as a negative... I collect you fuckin head. JUST LIKE this fucker right here ----->

seriously... I liked KBv.2... BUT the whole western thing was kinda boring.... I don't like Budd a whole lot...
And I was pumped that they don't kill Elle...
I liked Esteban.. the crazy face-cutting pimp too... he's PIMPIN of course
And I really enjoyed the "fight" with Bill...
And I love how in this movie Beatrix kicks everyone's asses w the tricks she got from Pai Mei... she barely uses the sword... and she doesn't kill anyone w it
I actually loved the irony that was the KBv2 ending.
with all the over the top bloodletting, it was quite a surprise to see a quiet, almost serene, end.
Agreed.
I loved both movies.
The best thing about VOL2 is that the deaths and pain (to me) are more realistic, you can actually feel the frustration of the characters (the eye and the tomb-coffin part were amazing).
BTW, ShingoEX I LOVE that girl in your sig, I always wanted to ask you who she is. Beautiful.

"I don’t think what I’m doing is the same as what he’s doing at all, because I think his movies are only about movies. They’re only about other movies. It’s all retro. His references are never to human life, but to human life as filtered through old movies. He’s basically always doing remakes and pastiches of old movies. And I saw those 70s movies when they came out – they were bad then. Why would you want to do a remake of a bad 70s movie? I don’t see that remaking it makes it good somehow." ~ David Cronenberg.
The "original" bits in Pulp Fiction wasn't even done by him, it was done by Roger Avary. But anyway, he's lame. But his army of fanboys will buy his remakes anyway so he'll remain a multi-millionaire and continue doing crap films. Good work.
Wasn't this the original plan? To show it as one movie?
Awesome fucking movies, I liked part 2 better, felt it was more 'story driven' and I really liked Bud and Ellie. I wouldn't go to the theater to see them both at the same time in 1 movie, but only because I've seen each one about 200 times.
Speaking of QT, 'Hostel' looks friggin awesome.

I believe the story goes... as Taratino was filming KB, he meet with Harvey Wienstein concerning the movie. While seeing how long the movie was going to be and how he gave Taratino a lot of leeway to take as long as he needed, they both decided that it would be best to split the movie into two parts. Taratino did want to have it seen as one movie at first.

At his Dynamite Entertainment panel, Tarantino was asked yet again for a status update on Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair. Here’s what he said:
"What’s going on with that is originally back when Kill Bill was going to be one movie, I wrote an even longer anime sequence. So you see in the movie [O-Ren] kill her boss but then there was that long hair guy... The big sequence was her fighting that guy. I.G. [The Japanese Anime Studio] who did Ghost in the Shell said we can’t do that and finish it in time for your thing. And [plus] you can’t have a thirty-minute piece in your movie. I said okay. It was my favorite part but it was the part you could drop. So we dropped it and then later when I.G. heard we were talking about doing Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair — they still had the script so without even being commissioned, they just did it and paid for it themselves. It’s really terrific. Anyway, The Weinstein Company and myself were talking about actually coming out with it sometime, not before the year is out, but within the next year with limited theatrical engagement as well."
Hope springs eternal!

Not impressed with Quentin Tarantino, remaking aged concepts is not homage if you do not have anything you would do with it.
ok. I'll let him know.
