So, the reason why the absence of David Hayter in these next games is because Kajima didn't ask Hayter to come back. They're trying to recreate everything including the voice acting. Everything is new with these next two games, of course Kajima also stated that these two will be his last (although, we've heard that before.)

Still though, I personally don't mind the new change, whoever they'll get for Snake. I'm sure they'll be just as good.

I know it's shallow but David Hayter not doing Snake is a pretty big deal to me.

Me too. I feel like getting someone to crack open the game, have him redub all of Snake's lines, and working forever to pay it off just to have that voice.

I'm calling BS on that, the Japanese version has the same VA... I still think Hayter should voice in GZ at least, and the coma dividing PP would be the explanation for the change.

Also, maybe this new VA is playing Snake in the upcoming film, and they want to prepare us for that

David Hayter on not doing Snake

This just makes me not want to even play.

So um... there are a few rumors being talked about how Psycho Mantis is a kid in Phantom Pain. Okay!

I've heard that Ishmael is Gray Fox, the burning guy is Volgin's ghost, and the guy on the white horse is Ocelot (which would be a nice nod to his mother)... those would all be kind of cool to see.

I heard that too, would be nice to see Volgin make another comeback, doesn't matter how to me. I always thought he was an interesting character.

As much as I am disgusted by the thought, there isn't much we can do. Kojima will do what he will do, and we can protest all we like.


But still....it's worth a try.
