Well, the time has come my friends. The time to vote for your THIRD MKO Idol!!

For those who have never heard of this competition or never understood what it was all about or if the title of the contest didn't give it away, here's how it works:

I've chosen 100 MKO members/mods. My criteria for whom I chose? People I've gotten to know these last years and that are still around, the most frequent posters in General Discussion, and the mods I consider I get along well with (and if they hate me, hey, that's news to me).

Obviously there are several users/staff members that I didn't include. Some on purpose (like Scott, CC, DAB, Murdoink -though I gotta clear up that until I saw you close a thread the other day I hadn't seen ANYTHING from you in months-, and a few others), some because I hadn't seen in some time when I made the list (and it sucked reading a few of your posts yesterday; DRFATALITY, Outworld, and Axeman, among others, for example). And the rest are new users that I don't really know at all and I wasn't sure how you'd feel about my inclusion of you in the competition. So for all those that are not among those 100, I sincerely apologize. In no moment did I make the list and say/think to myself something along the lines of "There's no fuckin' chance in hell I'm including THIS noob/idiot". Those who know me will know this is true when you see a pair of competitors.

Round 1 will consist of 10 groups of 10 participants. 5 matchups will take place in each group. Everybody EXCEPT the 2 participants of each matchup will vote to see whom they'd like to move onto the next round (each voting period will last 48 hours, btw). So, let's say that the 2 previous winners (Hyuga and Ghaleon) were to meet up. Everybody except those 2 vote to see who goes on to the next round. The same thing will happen for the other 4 matchups of each group (at least for the first few rounds), until there is one grand winner.

Some 48 hours AFTER I begin each voting period I will tally up the votes and I'll announce the winners. Past winners/runner ups (Hyuga, Shingo, Ghaleon, MaxDam) can help me out with tallying up votes and making sure nothing gets out of hand. Mods/staff members, whether they're participating or not, will obviously be moderating this.

Before I announce the first 5 matchups, lemme clear something up: This is TOTALLY random. None of these matchups were pre-determined or anything. I simply used the ol' ziplock bag and picked out numbers (which were randomly assigned to the 100 contestants) to create each matchup. The reason why I clear this up is because there are SEVERAL matchups in this round that'll leave people shocked (especially the ones in Group D. People that are friends will compete against each other. If a certain male member has a crush on a certain female member, there's a very good chance they'll meet up. Guys I'd like to see advance to the final rounds will meet up right away, so only one MIGHT get that far.

Two more things before I begin:

1)Yes, this is a popularity contest, but PLEASE don't let this get out of hand. No feelings should be hurt, nor should this be taken seriously since no prize/reward will be given. This has gone smoothly twice before, let's make it go well again.

B)Right now only 10 members will be listed. 90 more are yet to be announced. So if you wanna know IF you're going to participate and what group you're in, send me a PM and I'll gladly let ya know. And again, I'm sorry to those who were left out.
