Well boys and girls, in roughly 30 days, THE BIGGEST event (bar none) that rocks MKO twice a year will make it's triumphant return! That's right, the fifth (thus why it's called "Cinco"; it's spanish for five, silly) edition of MKO Idol will take over your MKO-visiting life for some 6 weeks, pitting 100 members/mods/staff against each other until one individual remains, one individual who proved that he/she has what it takes to be placed next to the 4 Idols so far: Hyuga, Ghaleon, IOLKW, and BLT (this also means that the only members who AREN'T participating are the past winners and the runner-ups).

Who will those 100 participants be? Well, unless I hear/read you say so specifically, it'll be those whom I personally choose to join. The top criteria for whom I choose is those who I see actively posting in the coming weeks in the most popular threads (BLT's Football thread, the "This Or That" thread, the "Drive By Post" thread, and a few others). Besides those peeps, I'll also take into consideration those who post in this thread saying that they DO wanna participate, and the rest of the participants will be a dozen+ personal choices of mine (including, but not limited to, the mods/staff).

So basically, if you wanna participate, simply post here, but like I've said before, if I see you posting frequently during the month of October (odds are very good that I will, considering I come here every day twice; those who visit my "fun-house" are DEFINITELY participating), you're in. By the same token, if you have a feeling that I'm gonna sign you up for the competition, post here saying that you DON'T wanna participate. Simple as that.

P.S. In the past, I've asked certain members for help tallying up the votes/announcing the next groups. This time it's VERY possible that I might need somebody to take over the competition for a week or 2. It's 99.9% certain that I'll be travelling to the U.S. at the end of November, and I doubt I'd be able to run the competition as well as I can from my own home. Honestly, I would prefer that if a past winner/runner-up would offer to help (since it wouldn't mean a potential participant would take him/herself out of the competition), but anybody who's serious about helping out and is 100% sure that he/she would be able to update things every 48 hours, please let me know.
