*chan_ming and TemperaryUserName are still conversing in the kitchen*


chan_ming: [sighs] Look... we still have to do something about TPB’s killer and he’s still in this house. We have his rough draft and there’s a lot in there we can use.

TemperaryUserName: [standing at the sink saying nothing]

chan_ming: Do you hear me?

TemperaryUserName: You know, when I turned over my badge, I thought that I could do better if I was on my own. Even if that meant waking up in the same clothes everyday tracking down some jackass who’s cheating on his wife. Now, I dunno.

chan_ming: [walking closer to TemperaryUserName] Listen, we have a problem and neither of us can solve it alone. Now, the storms gonna let up soon and I’d like to know that we did something meaningful here. And I think you do too.

TemperaryUserName: Yeah, well... I knew it wouldn’t be easy, but...

chan_ming: I know.

TemperaryUserName: Shit.


*chan_ming and TemperaryUserName are standing in the kitchen trying to decide what to do next as they feel that their efforts have been hampered due to the recent occurrence in the main hall. chan_ming’s looking at a defeated TemperaryUserName and takes several minutes to think about what course of action they should take.*


chan_ming: Hey, I was thinking of something.

TemperaryUserName: Yeah?

chan_ming: We should be looking at that LadyRaiden.

TemperaryUserName: Why?

chan_ming: Okay. So NovaStarr being TPB’s secretary knew about his draft. That’s a given.

TemperaryUserName: Okay.

chan_ming: But he had to find some way of getting a hold of all that he knew. He surely didn’t do the leg work all be himself, right?

TemperaryUserName: ...

chan_ming: Think if he hired someone to gather all the information about everyone over the years. With his connections that wouldn’t have been difficult.

TemperaryUserName: Huh. Okay. So...

chan_ming: What if LadyRaiden knew about the person TPB hired to get all this info? There had to be someone and since she’s his assistant, he’d tell her almost anything that he wouldn’t tell anyone else.

TemperaryUserName: Wait a second.

chan_ming: What?

TemperaryUserName: Just give me a second to think.

chan_ming: [pauses]

TemperaryUserName: [taking a sip of water from a glass]


*TemperaryUserName’s mind starts to turn as a thought seeped into it when chan_ming was talking about LadyRaiden. He takes another sip of water and a thought entered his mind and a sense of purpose came back to him.*


chan_ming: Something the matter?

TemperaryUserName: What if LadyRaiden was more involved than you think?

chan_ming: I don’t understand...

TemperaryUserName: Think about it. She knew almost every detail about those she mentioned. Now an ordinary assistant wouldn’t have known that I don’t think. But if she had a more hands on role, like actually being that persons who either went out and acquired all this info for TPB or she maybe heried people to do the leg work and bring her the info.

chan_ming: Then she’d relay it all to TPB.

TemperaryUserName: [nods] I mean, TPB probably needed someone close that he could trust. Shit, I doubt he could have called his mom to help him.

chan_ming: [thinks for a second] NovaStarr said something upstairs before you found us.

TemperaryUserName: What?

chan_ming: When I looked through the draft, I asked her about some of the names that were in it.

TemperaryUserName: What did she say? She knew any of them?

chan_ming: That’s the thing. I asked her jokingly if TPB knew every person in the city. Then she said something funny and it didn’t hit me till now.

TemperaryUserName: Okay.

chan_ming: She said that TPB didn’t personally know many of them. Some people like takermk, a few athletes, and a few others, sure. But that was about it, she said.

TemperaryUserName: Well... okay. LadyRaiden probably knew some connections.

chan_ming: Yeah, but how? Just working for TPB couldn’t give you all those connections to all of those important people in the draft.

TemperaryUserName: Well...

chan_ming: And there’s something else. Those initials, ‘G.B.L’. I think we can say that those stand for our beloved Governor Bloodline.

TemperaryUserName: I kinda figured that out upstairs when you went to go get Blade-Tsung.

chan_ming: Well, with those important people in that draft and TPB not knowing a lot of them; who else would know them?

TemperaryUserName: Someone who’d deal with them on a more regular basis than TPB himself.

chan_ming: Yeah.

TemperaryUserName: The fucking Governor.

chan_ming: Exactly.

TemperaryUserName: Hold on. How would she have gotten all that information on them if she was working for TPB? How could she have pulled that off? Someone from within the Governors camp maybe?

chan_ming: You aren’t up with the news are you?

TemperaryUserName: What do you mean.

chan_ming: Governor Bloodline overturns every position within his camp every 4-6 months. That’s barely enough time for a person to get that much info on him. Someone would had to have been with him starting from when he won his first term. There were three pages that spoke about his fund raising activities when he was running for the job.

TemperaryUserName: You know something?

chan_ming: What?

TemperaryUserName: LadyRaiden finds all the dirt on people and gives the info over to TPB. She got dirt on Bloodline that goes all the way back to when he was running for his first term apparently.

chan_ming: Okay.

TemperaryUserName: [pauses for several seconds] chan_ming!

chan_ming: What is it?

TemperaryUserName: [waling to the door] I think we should be talking to LadyRaiden. Cause I think this whole think will blow up from what she tells us.

chan_ming: How do you think?

TemperaryUserName: Cause I think TPB wasn’t the only person she was working for.

Yeah! What's going on here?

Yes, I was waiting for the conclusion of this story too.

First off, I wanna apologize to you peeps for not posting EP 18 yet. Modding MKO is more work than I thought it was and some of my projects(including this game) have been put on the back burner unfortunately. And iI seriously doubt I'd have the time to post EP 19 next week if I got arounf to posting EP 18.

So with this said, I've decided that I'll post the last two episodes as ONE episode on Sunday at 7pm so everything can be finished up and those that placed in each tier will know that they have a guaranteed place in the cast of the next Murder Mystery game. Errrr... actually, since the next one is an action/thriller, I should think up a different name for it instead of calling it a Murder Mystery.
