As long as you're a fan or show some interest in Mortal Kombat, you're welcome to this site. Many people here (myself included) don't think MK is the best fighting series ever, yet our liking for the franchise warrants our membership here...

well Im just expressing my opion of the game Im trying to see what other great fighting games i never heard of that i can play but so far mk is the best fighting i played if you got a better game i would like to hear your opion

Well, technically speaking Soul Calibur and Virtua Fighter are better fighting games.

I'm not sure about Tekken though, I have many, many qualms with those series as well.

Oh and I DO like MK! I love it! But that doesn't mean they are really the best games out there ;).

VF4 is boring as hell. Perhaps I just don't appreciate it's so-called "depth".

I understand that VF4 might not interest people because it doesn't have OMG WTF FLASHY MOVES but who gives a fuck about that if you're a serious gamer? If you're in it for the flashy effects, watch a flickering light bulb.

No offence, but... anyone who thinks MK games can even compare to VF games doesn't have a clue about fighting games. Mortal Kombat seriously lacks gameplay depth, unless you can prove me otherwise. What are your interesting strategies in what games? Do you know what the 50/50 problem is? Do you know what back dash cancel is? Do you know what universal tracking is? Do you know what a tier list is? Do you know what a safe move is? Do you know what a poker is? Do you know what a hypertaunt is? Do you?

Probably not. And that's ok. But saying that MK is better than VF shows you have no idea how MK works, let alone VF.

By the way TJ, that was a nice picture, but it had nothing to do whatsoever with this topic.
