So it was probably immoral to celebrate Hitler's death way back when then?

Therefore, may he rot in Hell.

I'm so happy. Not because of his death, though that is nice. But to see all those American flags, those men and women, Republicans, Democrats, Independents, Christians, Muslims, Athiests, Jews, all coming together and cheering for the USA. It brings a tear to my eye

I'm pretty sure people affected by 9/11 should have the right to be happy about the head bastard behind it finally killed and get the closure they seek. Nothing immoral about it.

So...it's immoral to be elated that a complete shithead terrorist, who is responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent people, got what was coming to him? That immediately makes us all immoral people?! I fail to see your logic.

He was a complete dick who deserved to get blown of the face of this planet. IMO, he deserved a much worse death than what he got.

He'll be burning in Hell for eternity. And I'll be smiling knowing one less terrorist is in this world. It makes me happy seeing all these people on the TV coming together....(drunk) college students, 20-somethings, middle-aged people, all races, all backgrounds....

Oh yeah, no doubt its great to see America stand together for once. But a man dying is what brought us together. Doesn't that seem kinda contradictory? That the land of the free and the home of the brave finally stand united after the death of another man.

I dunno, this hippie bullshit ideology I have is really bothering me

I understand the conflict, Its odd to think about cheering over a mans death, but then I think of what he did, all the deaths that were caused by his words. I fail to see him as a human anymore, just a monster.

And having negative thoughts and being happy about death is the something of what that "monster" did.

*Sigh* Whatever. I'm done.

Edit: I wouldn't be arguing with you if you hadn't said that those of us who are pleased have no morals. I've not said one bad thing about people who aren't partying in the streets. I'm not getting loud. Instead, I am quietly celebrating.

Dude, you're an American. Or so your flag says. This monster orchestrated an attack on September 11 10 years ago that crashed 2 planes into and destroyed the World Trade Center, another one into part of the Pentagon, and another crashed into a field in Pennsylvania only because the passengers of that one fought back. Hundreds, thousands, maybe millions of people died that day. For that alone, at the very least the United States of America, your home, deserves the right to be happy a bastard like that is no longer alive and causing more death and destruction.

Don't question someones Patriotism for not wanting to celebrate anothers death. I personally am glad he's dead and in hell. But can't you understand it's hard for some people to process JOY over death? Death isn't usually joyful. No one is upset he's dead, but some people just don't like celebrating that he is dead, and I find that understandable. It's weird to celebrate someones death. That doesn't mean they are unAmerican or Pro-Bin Laden. I personally don't mind the celebration of his death, and am enjoying it greatly, I can understand why others don't though.

I'm I'n no defense of Osama bin Ladin but when people act of of character over a serious matter I feel I have to address it because I live I'n this society and I wouldn't want my kids to go threw this world by living with the minds of immoral people.

BUT...

To address what you said... You said innocent people right? How do you know he wasnt innocent if he never been threw trial?

I just find it very hypocritical that he did die when Obama himself wanted to send people to be I'n court I'n NY.

Like I said I'm a guy with morals, yeah I may make jokes from time to time but this isn't funny. All I know is things I'n mortal kombat, my family history, my upbringing and those who love me. But I know nothing about what happens I'n the world but only what the media tells me, so why should I just be happy about someone Who died that I don't know? Why should I be happy about anyone dying? It's not right for me at all.

Hopefully you guys can understand and maybe this can be a learning experience

Good night and may GOD bless everyone

Way to rain on the parade. All he won was a bullet to the head. You must be too young to remember that wretch denying the hell out of the attacks because he knew we'd kill him. Then that video was recovered where he was patting his fellows on the back and we all knew. The pussy wouldn't have even admitted it unless we'd found that thing. Then he went into hiding... lot of good that did him. 10 years, but we still got him. 'Bout time. I'd check the poor attitude towards this at the door if I were you.

Hitler didnt go through trial. Did he need to, in order to pay for the crimes he committed against humanity? Thats a BIG NO.

Same goes for that sorry piece of shit Muslim Extremist. He murdered humans and hid behind a religion, claiming he was doing it in the name of God. If that isnt PURE evil, then I dont know what is.

Bin Laden didnt need to go through trial because he personally took credit for planning the attack that not only killed thousands of Americans but he changed the way we lived. His very image instilled fear in the average American.

I hope the mother fucker burns in hell. Icebaby said it best.

We as Americans just recieved retribution. Today is a big day for our nations history. Thank you ColdWindBlows, although we disagree about the act of celebrating the death of a man who would not have thought twice about giving an order to murder us both, we can agree on one thing, God bless you too brother.

Well right now everybody is in the moment, so I don't expect any different.

But on the contrary, I do very much remember everything quite cleary. What I remember most is the pain and agony that the American people suffered. Everyone who died that day, their families, the officials and volunteers who helped, and all of the memories. In exchange for that, we killed him. Quickly. Until he can endure the pain that all of the aforementioned people have suffered, the score has not been settled. So it's too late now. That's what I was getting at.

Also, I'm not much of an afterlife person, so to me, he's just dead and gone.
