PES 4 (Winning Eleven 8)
I support Liverpool so I can see where your coming from with the Man Utd rivalry! Rooney was stupid to move from Merseyside to Manchester! Hes hated in Merseyside now. On the license thing, WE8 does NOT have the english license. I should know - Ive been following it from the start! And ive played it!

I hoped that the months between the Japanese & American release of the game would give 'em time to get it, but I guess not.

I've read a import review of Winning Eleven 8 and the new gameplay additions look really good.
Manchester United 2 - 1 Liverpool
I thank you
Bow down to the defensive god only known as Rio ferdinand, even 8 months without playing a game hasn't changed his brilliant defensive skills

FLSTYLE, not to sound like Im looking for excuses but the referees kiss Alex fergusons ass. Man Utds first goal was deserved but it shouldn't have been a free kick (Liverpool can still be blamed for not marking silvestre) so it was poor refereeing. The fact that they even had to argue over whether O'Shea had scored an own goal was ridiculous - it was over the line by at least 30cm. The corner Man Utd scored off, shouldn't have been a corner at all. I do believe that Man Utd played better than Liverpool but if the refereeing wasnt so poor, we may have drawn or maybe even won. But oh well, you cant win em all!

And so continues the plage of crap referees in England, I think there should be a 5th official who watches replys like in Rugby, loads of stuff can be seen on the replys that Referees and linesmen never see.

United deserved to win. They outplayed Liverpool overall in the match, especialy in the first half. Liverpool stepped it up in the 2nd, and probably deserved the equalizer, even though it was ridiculous. But I still think Man Utd deserved to win. It wasn't a corner, Giggs touched it last, but these things happen - and it was atrocious defending on BOTH of Silverstre's goals, where was the marking on the 1st? I am a United fan, and have watched them for years, and have to say the refs dont give them the calls as much as they used to in the late 90's / early 00's. If you watch Arsenal u will know that they get EVERY call now. Anyone see the Fulham vs Arsenal match a couple of weeks ago? MAN, that just proves my point. As if they need MORE help to win the match, ya know?

What I fuckin' DON'T understand is what was so hard in putting the 2004/2005 teams instead of last season's teams. I mean, the latest the Second Division tournaments ended was in June, so what was so hard about that?? It's bad enough that stupid TV deals have prevented the broadcasting of Honduras' star David Suazo's games, but now he won't even be in a videogame?? I don't wanna fuckin' play FIFA just to play as him.

Has he changed his brilliant drug-consuming skills?

Yeah I saw it, but with or without the ref's help, Arsenal is far superior to the rest of 'em. As long as they at least tie with Man U, Liverpool, and Chelsea, they'll take the title again. However, they didn't seem that convincing in the Champion's League, though.
F.C Barcelona, however, ruled

Well he'd actually have to SHOW UP at the tests to find out if he's guilty or not, you know

Arsenal are simply amazing in the Premiership, you're right. Yet they turn into a crap team in the Champions League...I guess their all out attack style works in England, but not in Europe. I still think Arsenal will go through a bad patch this year, United, Chelsea and Liverpool have all played each other - whereas Arsenal's toughest opponent was Middlesborough! As u said, if they draw against the other big teams, the title is theirs once again, but I know the other top teams have improved their squads - and I think they can beat Arsenal. Should be an interesting finish in May...
Oh and Barca are so lucky that PSG argued over the price of Ronaldinho so much with United, that the almost certain deal fell through. He has to be one of the top 5 players in the world right now.
I watched Barca vs Celtic last week, and they were looking scary good, could be a dark horse for the European Cup this year...

He took one a couple of days later and was clean. I blame United as much as dumb old Rio, cus they should have made sure he took the test after training.

Here's the thing, though: They've played 4 games so far (3 in La Liga, 1 in the Champion's League; they're playing against Zaragoza on Thurdsay; btw, I REALLY hope Osasuna beats Real Madrid in the Bernabeu like they did last time; Camacho's a wuss), and they've dominated every single game. The statistics are that they attack the other team's goalie every 6 minutes. But the ammount of goals they've scored isn't that high.
So that's what's got me worried. They aren't taking advantage of all the opportunities they have.

Much like United in yesterdays match, they dominated but didnt turn their dominance into goals. And it almost came back to bite them in the ass...
I'm sure once Ronaldinho, Larsson and Saviola (is he still at Barca??) and the other forwards get used to playing together and with the midfielders that supply them, they will be scoring 3 goals a game. In the Celtic match, ALL the play was in Celtic's half!
Im sure youre happy about how Real are doing, with all those players, their fans must be going nuts

Well, here's the thing...Why didnt the United officals MAKE Rio take the test on the day???????????????? Seems as though that is what they would do, make sure he takes it, unless he had something to hide...

I agree that Man U deserved to win, but fortune once again craps on the Liverpool crest! Maybe the refs aren't as biased towards Man U as they once were but they still give them the upper hand in matches. Basically Man Utds 12 players triumphed over Liverpools 11!

Exactly the same way I look at it.
P.S. Saviola's at Monaco now. He's scored one goal that I'm aware of.
P.P.S. Well, Beckham saves Real Madrid for the second time in 4 games so far. The team has 4 fowards who are SUPPOSED to be among the best in the world, yet they've scored how many goals in 5 games (including the match against Leverkusen):
