I'm gonna pass on Black and White and wait for Version 3, this gives me more time to keep working on the Regional and National Pokedexes in Heart Gold.

Everyone kept telling me that the second gym sucked and that tackle was really powerful. They kept comparing that to Whitney in Gold/ Silver. I never had a problem with Whitney. She'd always stomp me instead of Rollout me. Well with this gym leader, instead of tackling me she kept using Take Down and Retaliate. And I beat her on my first try.

I kinda find it cool that there's no Pokemon from previous generations in this game AT ALL until you unlock the national dex. I mean, sure I think a lot of the Pokemon in this generation are lame and derivative, as people have pointed out, but it takes balls to have a game where for the first 20-40 hours or so, you will only be able to play as new characters.

Can you imagine if the only playable characters when you started MKDA up were Li Mei, Kenshi, Bo' Rai Cho, Mavado, Hsu Hao, Frost and Drahmin?

My hat's off to the Pokemon company. They took a huge risk on that.

I also got my Mystery Gift Victini today. Psychic/Fire. That's a weird ass combination. But there's a lot of weird ass combinations in this game. And that's what I like about it.

Also agree with whoever said it before that it was good to see only new pokemon until National Dex (Which I dont ahve yet). It got really boring seeing Zubats and Geodudes and Magikraps and Machops and all the usual trash floaters! And even tho they pretty much all have a version in this game its something new to look at.

I always ahte having to chose a starter haha. I usually prefer the water starters, but thought this time I wanted to try out different types i wouldnt normally go for so ended up taking Pignite. plus it was kinda cute starter hehe.

At the mall on Route 9 , this waitress almost beats me. She killed two of my pokemon. That was the first time a random trainer other than the gym leader; kills two of my pokemons.
She kept confusing my pokemons with Liligant. It was so annoying. lol

If you find someone else to trade, couldn't you just borrow their DS and do it with your own Celebi? I did that with Jirachi when HGSS came out... even though it's now trapped in my PokeWalker...
