Wow, a Shiny Solrock?

That's pretty neat, man! I've always wanted to have the perfect dualistic team with Solrock and Lunatone, far better than what Tate and Liza could ever uphold.

Unfortunately, until I get paid again, I'm stuck with Pearl on a DSi, and no WiFi, which means I am highly limited to the pokemon I can obtain.

This is me so far:




It's much different from the last time I had Pearl. The only two that's still among my team are Roserade, my star pokemon, and Luxray.

As soon as I get White, though, I hope to have this:

Yeah, that's true. That's all I did too. It was over fast.

actually, the odds in most cases are 8 in 65536, unless you use the Masuda Method, in which case the odds increase to 1 in 8192.

Oh really? I didn't know that. I didn't use any method, it just randomly appeared. Solrock is pretty cool; even though I'm not a big fan of Rock pokemon.

Interesting fact. Odds of 8 in 65536 are exactly the same as odds of 1 in 8192.

Ouch. That's what happens when I copy and paste without paying attention.
Proper info: Masuda method increases odds to 1 in 2048.

There's a lot of info on how to get shinies, although it's mostly of little help: It's always ultra rare and hard to accomplish.

A buddy of mine found a shiny Solosis, and it was actually the first Solosis he ever saw in game, so he caught it, and thought all Solosis' were blue until he battled someone trainers with Solosis'

Anyhoo, with Black and White, my greatest goal, a goal I've been wanting to obtain since Gold and Silver, is to have a team comprised entirely of Ghost-type pokemon.

Did you guys know that before this she was in fact the Battle Frontier Brain of the Battle Castle?



I was simply looking up stuff about frontier brains, and I noticed the Battle Princess' name, Lady Caitlin. So I clicked on the link, and her main page popped up. Seems that some years has passed between Diamond/Pearl and Black/White.

That's pretty interesting, I wish they'd do more of that stuff with featuring the same characters throughout the games.

I really wish you could go to Kanto and fight Red.

Speaking of that, I just wish you could actually go to other regions in the game... I miss that about Silver/Gold, having 16 badges to win. Misty looked hot as an adult!

I also loved the family quarrel with Bianca and her Dad. It was sad, and touching.

I'm still playing. I finished Pokemon White and wanted to start a new game. I didn't want to delete the file, so I had to buy Pokemon Black. Effing Nintendo.

Nomatter how many games they make, there will always be a spot in my heart for the original Red and Gold (^_^). I think the 1st Gen Pokemon are the baddest, and I love how Gold( and HeartGold) let you travel back and forth between countries. They should really make a GRAND Pokemon adventure where you could (at least) travel back to one or two countries, if not all of them. I know I might be asking much, but that's what wishful thinking is for! lol
