Nope, not disease or famine.
Between his samey, stupid shows, and and those sub-humans who make the ____ Movie series, entertainment is just gonna be half-assed pop culture references and two-bit satire
I hope they collaborate on a movie or TV show just to see how bad it could possibly get

How would he take down modern society? By making jokes? The man gives me something to laugh about.

I like American Dad and Family Guy is fine in small doses. MacFarlane can be pretty bad, but not downfall of society bad.
Now Fox News. There is the downfall of society amigo

Um... that's not going to kill modern society. How about the fact that the cast of Jersey Shore are getting a trip to Italy as well as doubling their salery just to party, fist pump, "work out" and tan all day?
How is that not killing us but one guy with lame jokes will?

I understand where the OP's coming from, especially when the so called "Animation Domination" is pretty much "MacFarlane Domination with a hint of The-Should-Have-Ended-Several-Seasons-Ago-Simpsons." To me though, the man is very hit and miss. Nowadays, Family Guy will only get a cheap laugh out of me once and a while, but I find American Dad to be friggan hysterical (well, I find Stan, Roger, and Claus to be friggan hysterical at least) and I thought he did an awesome job acting in Hellboy 2. I won't even touch the Cleaveland Show though...that show is horrible and did not need to be made...the only time I've ever laughed at that show was when they were fighting all those old ladies.
And I'm right with the OP on the ___ Movie guys...Disaster Movie was the biggest piece of garbage I've ever seen...EVER. EDIT: And since Icebaby brought it up....I friggan
HATE
Jersey Shore! I can't believe Firefly gets cancelled after one season, but Jersey Shore is still alive...

Pretty much all of this.
E: Well, maybe substitute Fox with Wall Street.
Seth MacFarlane is just a guy. He has a lot of TV shows and he loves really, really, really long gags and humour that is designed to shock people.
He's hardly the downfall of modern society. The downfall of modern society is the baby boomers who won't fucking die.

That Family Guy, American Dad and The Cleveland Show is utter shit does not rest solely on McFarlane's shoulders.
American entertainment in the movie and tv bussiness has been completely drained. Period. This is not news anymore, this is a decade long fact.

One guy...with THREE shows, circulated constantly on AS and FOX.
Jersey Shore is thankfully stuck on MTV. I don't even know what their demographic is anymore.

But then you got Sammi, Mike and one other person making jewelry and clothing.
Snooki and Jenni are getting their own reality show.
Angelina poorly rapping means that we might get a touch of other shore members doing the same.
Family Guy might have spin-offs, but Jersey Shore is coming up to be a really big thing lately. And honestly, I swore that this show was going to have only two seasons. I see Jersey Shore more of a threat than Seth to be honest.

Holy shit...I didn't know it was that bad.
BUT, the biggest crossovers they can get are with pro wrestling as of now, and that's something nobody admits to watching these days. So we're still safe for at least a couple years.

But seriously, like (Erick) stated, if you don't like the show, just don't watch it.
There's no point in complaining about how terrible you think it is. It's not going to keep episodes from airing. Furthermore, there is no point in making such grand claims of one person ruining modern society.
It's mad mongering like that that leads to the downfall of society. Just shut-up and change the freakin' channel.

Shit like the Nixon Shock (which addressed a then devalue of currency due to inflation, by turning the dollar into a fiat currency to address gold backing concerns) and Reagonomics (which cut taxes and spending to recirculate a greater amount of wealth into the working class, but this had the opposite economic effect of people hoarding money instead of spending it, causing further inflation and government debt). These were short term solutions to long term economic problems. They only took into account the then present and not how it might affect the future.
