I'm not interested. The Gem pack may be worth getting if they aren't already in the game, otherwise the DLC is crap IMO.
More costumes? I'm really not surprised. If Japanese developers want to keep wondering why there doing so shitty they really should look at the way they handle their games, and maybe take a lesson from say Netherrelm.

Well, Netherrealm really missed the opportunity to make more money with MK9 DLC. And compared to the 4 chars for $15 in MK9 this one is much cheaper.
As for the gems, there are already a lot in the game so I don't care about those.
The costume pallette swap and ''cross dressing' '
And you can bet all DLC is on-disc.

This is the games official ESRB. Read very closely.
"This is an arcade-style fighting game in which players engage in two-on-two battles with characters from the Street Fighter and Tekken universes. Players punch, kick, and use special attacks (e.g., energy blasts, fireballs, electrical strikes) to deplete opponents’ life meters. Some fighters also use laser swords, chainsaws, metal claws, or explosives to knock characters across the screen or to the ground. One bear-like character can perform a flatulence attack to strike opponents, resulting in yellow gas clouds.
A variety of female fighters wear revealing outfits that expose large amounts of jiggling cleavage; some sequences include close-up camera angles on their breasts or buttocks. The dialogue references alcohol and drunkenness (e.g., “Getting drunk isn’t really a good way to fight,” “[W]anna go for a few drinks?”), and one wobbly character uses “drunken” fighting moves. The words “sh*t” and “a*s” appear in dialogue."
There are character reveals in this ESRB. I'm kinda happy for these ones being in. Figure it out by yourself.

Only one I could figure out was Alisa. I'm guessing the other is Lei but I figured he would be in the game already. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Have all the guests to this private meeting between Tekken and Street Fighter already been confirmed? I read that Xbox 360 won't have the equal treatment with this game compared to PS3. Feels familiar... You can't but laugh at the precision and details of those ESRB ratings sometimes.
Someone hand out possibly the very first DP for Artsi for that!

I was referring to the fact that Netherrealm Studio included at least 1 alternate costume per character on the disk. These costume packs sadly are probably going to be the only alternates the game will have. I also agree that 99-100% of this DLC is going to ship on the disk, which is BS.
My second thought on the DLC character pack, I actually may decide to get it, if only for Christie.
I have to wonder. Does it make that much of a difference for you guys if DLC is on a disk or if it isn't? I feel like when it's not on the disk, they're just fooling you into believing that the content wasn't all ready done and ready to ship when the disk went gold.

Doesn't matter to me. I bought MVC3 and UMVC3. I will just sell MVC3 down the road. I bought all of MK's DLC. So I don't need to buy the Komplete Edition. But if it was the only way to buy the DLC then I would.

As long as the DLC interests me, I don't care if it's on the disc or not.
I still think DLC is bullcrap but I know it's not going away so whatever.

It just bothers me knowing it is already on the disk. I think it's BS that the developers create content to be released after a game is released, but it's already on the disk when it ships. I feel any content that is finished and on the game disk when it ships should be free. Charging for stuff like costumes is just BS. Alt costumes where available in the Street Fighter 4 arcade, but they felt the need to charge $20 for them when it was released on consoles. This one instance alone has created my disdain for DLC.
The only exception to this rule IMO is when you have console specific characters that get unlocked later on, like Soul Calibur 4 did with the Star Wars characters. I fine with charging for something like that.

I miss Lars. He and Alisa are both new characters in Tekken, so why exclude them from this game? I know, Alisa will be DLC, but why not Lars? Why make a whole new character and then NOT show him in a clash fighter like this?
I felt the same way about Juri, but luckily she came aboard. ^^

I am kind of against including newer characters. I think classic characters should be included. Asuka, Raven, and Bob are all newer characters that made it. I think that should be it. Characters like Jun, Lee, Bruce, and Wang should be included. And Marduk should be replaced with Armor King. Just my 2 cents.

I have it the other way around. A clash fighter is perfect to show off new characters in another content. But of course, the classics shouldn't be forgotten either. I guess they just can't make everyone satisfied. Even without Lars, I still find the roster to be rather solid.

Lars sucked. His design was goofy and unappealing, and his story was just bad.
I won't be buying this version. The lack of Lee is just too disappointing, and I never cared for the SF4 fighting engine anyway.

Buy it anyway, when it comes to Tekken I can pick up and paly anyone, I just enjoy the game, as opposed to Street Fighter, where I only use 2 or 3 characters since it's honestly not as fun messing around.
What's sad is, even though I'm interested, there's so much on-disc DLC and features coming down the road, I know an inevitable "complete/ultimate/super/ultra/definite" edition will come out within the year...
... And bringing with it even more on-disc costumes and DLC for another version or something.
Can you tell I've grown so painfully cynical of Capcom's business model?

Personal opinion is personal. I still want Lars, because I don't think he sucks and I rather like his design and story.
