The other day I foresaw that Squirtle would have withdraw and waterfall and that Ivysaur would grab the edge with vine whip and also that Charizard would have flamethrower for his B move. Well, ùi was shocked to see how much I was right all along lol. Ivysaur is gonna be awesome, dont worry Kam.

well, it appears now we have 18 characters. mario,peach,pokemon trainer,zelda,pit,link,kirby,metaknight,wario,ike,donkey kong,diddy kong,yoshi, fox mcloud,samus,pikachu,snake,and bowser.


it appears there is only time for 14 more chartacters.

it would be great IMO if they were:

luigi,aiai,toad,sonic,tails,birdo,king dedede,captain falcon,nes,captain game and watch, mewtwo,boo the ghost, rayman[with the bunnies],and yes im gonna say it, GOKU.

Yeah, I couldn't believe they gave Charizard Rock Smash. Worst idea ever.

gliding is interesting.... Maybe there'll be a secret Pilot wings character to take advantage of this feature!!!
it looks fair.. and looks like its gonna be fun to use... like peaches float!!!

BTW... I have given Yoshi's 3rd jump being the egg throw a lot of thought... I got 2 ideas:
1) When the egg lands on something and it burstsa new yoshi pops out of it and the original desintegrates like Nana when Popo was killed
2)U can make the egg land on u and propell u upward... kinda like PK thunder....

I got a question........

How do you guys think the select screen will be set up? If they have around 40 characters let's say, would you think they set it up like SSBM, where they have people positioned already, and all the unlockables are just added to the sides?

Or do you think it will be just one big box, has all 40 characters, but the unlockable characters are blacked out?

I actually hope they do the big box, that'd be cool b/c you can tell from the start how many characters there are to unlock.

Gliding I think will give those characters a big advantage.

man only 14-20 characters left 2 reveal.gliding looks kinda unfair to me.i REALLY hope that 3 of the other characters would be roy,sonic and mewtwo.

How does gliding look unfair? If anything the only thing that this can actually be used for is recovery. And even if you use it for that way, it looks like an easy function to meteor-spike.

Actually, Peach does not glide. She floats. She can stay in the air for a limited time, whereas Charizard, Pit and Metaknight have wings.

Kirby and Jigglypuff have multiple jumps, but they can't glide. Kirby has greater vertical jumps while Jigglypuff can travel greater distances horizontally.

Charizard, Pit and Metaknight have multiple jumps PLUS the gliding skill. Well, at least we have seen Pit and Metaknight doing multiple mid-air jumps. I just wish Charizard can flap his wings too.

Peach is different. She can use either her first or second jump to float for a certain time. I doubt she will be able to control her flight in a vertical sense, they will most likely keep her traditional horizontal limited flight. This can be a huge advantage in platform stages and you know it Peach is godly in Melee, I hope she is as good (or better) in Brawl!

Lucas from Mother 3 is confirmed to be a main character. Hopefully they don't take out Ness though, the world needs more Mother.

I hate how the updates are after 12:00 California time... especially now that im in the east coast!

looks like one of the best stages... but still pretty weak for a friday update!
