How is the 3DS version?

I was thinking of picking it up a couple weeks ago.

Not bad. Just takes getting used to the new controls.
I highly prefer the Wii U version, but the 3DS one is great as well.

Lucas is coming! Such a great character and would have been my first choice for DLC so I am happy. Now we need Roy.

I would had preferred another character instead of Lucas... -_-'

Lucas is a lot more different from Ness than people give him credit for.


I went to Gamestop to get 2 amiibos (preferably Ness and Lucina/Robin) but Lucina and Robin sold out so I went with Ness and Charizard.

Bought it for Mewtwo; returned it later. I'm looking forward to playing him once they release the code. Just hate that Nintendo didn't say he'd be available as DLC later...

Lucas, Roy, and Ryu came out today.

Lucas is as much fun as he was in Brawl. Been having a blast with him. Going to definitely keep him as as secondary character if he doesn't become my main over Ness.

Roy is definitely still my favroite Fire Emblem character that has ever appeared in Smash so I'm loving his addition to the roster. There are some other units from Fire Emblem that I would like to see in Smash but I'm not going to complain about it since we got Roy.

Ryu is someone I wish wasn't dlc. It could have been almost anyone else and been a better choice. Oh well. It's nice that you can do QCF+A for his neutral B attack (Hadoken). Same goes for the default SF Shoryuken input instead of using the recovery input. His gameplay isn't terrible but he probably won't be someone I select too often. Not that they are better options but I guess it is nice to see them include it. Still mad that Suzaku Castle stage doesn't have a Guile theme just because.

The best thing about that DLC was Dream Land(64)!

Who even is Lucas? Excited for Ryu tho.

Lucas is the main character from Mother 3. Not sure if it was an actual question or not but there is your answer.

Ryu's more fun than I thought he would be after putting in a little bit of time with him. Probably because he isn't in the awfully boring mechanics of Street Fighter.

About the DLC, I have to ask: Were the characters we got requested by the fanbase?

Apparently there`s a Super Mario Maker themed stage coming.

Welp, Cloud Strife is coming to Smash Bros. Has a FF7 outfit and a Advent Children Outfit.

Sweet. Nice to see his Limit Breaks, was hoping to see Meteo Rain. Hope his stage music is Fighting & Still more Fighting, like in the trailer.


I was thinking about Knuckles for Sm4sh, SA2 music for Sonic's stage got me thinking of Pumpkin Hill
Of course his stage'd be the Emerald altar on Angel Island.

Seriously? Cloud Strife is the main character from Final Fantasy VII.

He also appears in the Kingdom Hearts games, apparently.

Fire emblem is a very popular strategy game. Im not familiar with it seeing as I never bought any of the fe games, I just know a few things because interwebs. Someone here probably knows more. Just know that Corrin or whatever is from the new FE Fates game coming next year. He/She is pretty much the Robin of Fates.

Shantae is a half Genie from the Platform game Shantae for Gameboy Color. Little dark skinned Long purple haired genie girl who whips foes with her hair.

Is FE play anything like FF Tactics?

How do I play Sm4sh online? I gots the WiiU version. Not sure how to buy dlc characters either. Was interested in them before Cloud was announced.
