I like Fox's final smash, but it looks really hard to dodge it. I mean, imagine that thing on Yoshi's Island. It would basically auto-KO anyone else on the stage, since they can't run anywhere else.

The same thing would be for Bowser turning into Giga-Bowser in a small stage.

I'm sure that there is some weakness... and besides... the final smashes are supposed to be hammer-calibre attacks... so imagine having the hammer in yoshi's island... u pretty much are gonna land the hit

i like these updates.the dodging looks cooler now.Fox's final smash looks awsome especially since it changes the whole arena.

I've always wanted this.

Definately the best thing to happen so far. I'm glad there's more difficulty levels as well.

At first i didn't like this update much, but now i love it.

It'll be awesome playing with two players on Adventure Mode, and it looks very fun. More difficulty levels mean more replay value.

Sonic will be in. There is no doubt. Here's why:

1. Popularity- Sonic has, as you all know, been the most requested third party so far, and with his fued with Mario, it's obviousley a big factor

2. Company- Nintendo asked Sega if they could include Sonic into their game, and Sega said no because they would have no say in the game other than that, but Nintendo has let them use their trademark mario characters for Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games. Therefore, Sega will give Nintendo the right to Sonic for this game. IT would seem so stupid for Nintendo to let another company use their character, and get no profits.

F. IGN interview- IGN had an interview with Sega about Mario and Sonic ATOG. In the interview, IGN asked if Sonic was going to be in Brawl. Obviousley he Sega wouldn't say yes, but they didn't say no either. They could've just given you a flat no, but they said "that's not on the table right now" so go figure.

Sonic, the biggest mystery and rumor of all in SSBB since the beginning and still is.

Can anyone give one, just ONE good reason why he won't be in? Look at Snake! If Snake could get in, then why in the bluest of blue hell would Sonic get left out?

Well my good friend like you stated before, if sega had lent Nintendo the rights to use the creatures likeness in the game, they would have liked to have some creative input with the development, 'scept the sonic team's latest work since sonic adventure has been fumbling from sub-par to unplayable(see Sonic: the hedgehog)

And Nintendo knows this all too well. They've seen their rivals hardware removal from the game industry, and they know when a great idea has peaked (see: Gunpei Yokoi).

Another reason is publicity, if sonic was in he'd definately have more press coverage, and as much as I disagree with it, it COULD VERY WELL topple online gameplay as the primary selling point of this entry in the series, because it is after all; the matchup thats been hyped up since the 90's and died with the dreamcast but somehow, has been kept alive by rabbid fanboys. Fanboys who, despite undeniable proof, keep buying and supporting the sonic teams GOD AWFUL attempts.

BUT theres more! There actually IS a game that does this already! and has Nintendo's creative minds ASSISTING the sonic team this game is:



and so i say Keep sonic OUT it would just be awkward to have ONE sonic character appear, when we've grown to know and in most cases preffer (knuckles) other characters in the series.

Well, thanks for the reasons, but I still have some fight left in me.

Sonic and Mario. Yeah, like you said, it could be huge. It could even topple WiFi, but that's exactly what Nintendo wants. WiFi si good enough, but why stop there when they could get even more sales by getting the hardcore Sonic fans to get this game? The most popular request to be in Brawl is Sonic.

Also, Mario and Sonic at the Olympics doesn't include Nintendo's help, just the characters, ( I might be wrong, but am pretty sure that Nintendo isn't doing much for the game) so basically, Nintendo scratches Sega's back, and vice versa. Sega complained that they didn't want Sonic in because they would have no say about the rivalry. But now they have control of Mario without Nintendo, so in all fairness, they would lend Nintendo Sonic for the game.

Also, Knuckles and other Sonic characters can still be featured in the game as Assist Trophies, and the stages could end up being arenas. Nintendo is lending Sonic eight characters for Mario and Sonic, so it wouldn't be outrageous to suggest that Knuckles, or Tails might not be Assist Trophies, or even more drastic, playable characters!

Though there is probably no way to change your mind, I thought I needed to present these topics to show you Sonic has a chance (and imo, a 100% one at that) to be in Brawl.

I still think he's not in. They would've given us a hint by now.
