And of course a WTF character (even though I think Sonic, and Snake filled that role) so right now we're looking at a roster of about 34 without the characters that might be replaced, and 41 with the characters who might be replaced. But this is just my estimate. There might be characters that will make people go "Wow, he got it?" But we'll just have to wait and see

SubMan799, since they have about 4 or 5 months to work on SSBB, i expect at least 40-50 characters.

Shadow will be an Alternate costume for Sonic
Knuckles and Tails will be an AT
Eggman will be a boss character

Listen guys, It's gonna be 41or 42. Reign of Chaos reminded me of Bowser Jr. who might be present in the game.

Pacman should be nothing more than an assist trophy. And SubMan, I don't see why Marth would be more plausible than Falco ? I mean with Ike there, maybe neither Marth nor Roy will make it. I also don't think they will take Mewtwo out. Anyway and want them all in... except Pacman.

Marth was a high tier character, and has been requested by many fans to come back. Plus, he was the original Fire Emblem Lord character, and the first ever Japanese only character to appear in Melee (technically, he appears before Roy)

I'm sure by now you guys know this but yeah, gamestop confirmed Sonic officially being in.

Great news, now I'm definitely looking more foward to this game. We'll see about the balancing but I'm not concerned with that because no fighter is "perfectly balanced" but they can do their best which I'm sure they will.

I have an idea guys, list your roster that you'll use online/offline: versus or online: Me personally, this will be my roster of guys I want to master once I get it: Mario Pikachu Link Diddy Kong (possibly Sonic, I just want to kick his ass with Mario) but sonic if he's fast for sure like his reputation then I'll use him. Possibly Snake, I think I'll wait to see how he plays.

Yea, I see numerous places that freaked out, and are still freaking out just because of the delay.

People's excitement are getting the best of them, they are getting themselves too hyped that they literally get destroyed because of one bad news that comes in from the site or any other place.

People just need to learn to be patient, it could be just for the better of the players for them to have more time.

you have a very good point Litoj.Well sonic's final smash is kinda lame,its supersonic(IMO)and he just flys around and if he touches you 1-3 times you fly out of the ring...meh.
