God, people at BrawlCental are such crybabys. They never STFU about their "complaints" with the game, like the roster.

Also, none of the characters are FULL clones, they're all Luigified.

TL has a diffrent down a, and is faster than normal link.

TL also has all different graphics, and hes fast and slips when u turn fast....

tru that... clones have been VERY luigified (love the term)... falco is VERY different from Fox... and Wolf is like a bad-ass version!!!

the only thing I was pissed about was the elimination of Mewtwo.. but once I saw Lucario in action... I was happy....

U really got to trust the smash team... they are really amazing and fantastic at ppl pleasing

The game has a great roster, imo, and i like how the clones are luigified. The game is filled with soo much stuff it's insane.

If you think BC is bad, go to Gamefaqs. THe newest fad is the amount of landmaster and complaining about how no one will play as ROB.

well,kamionero i feel exactly the same anyway can someone SPECIFICALY explain to me how the clones are different.

Okay, i'm gonna try to explain to everyone how the "clones " are luigified.

TL- he is faster than Link, a diffrent down and a, and some other attack animations that differ from Link's; also, his FS's triforce is colored diffrent than Link's.

Falco- he can throw his reflector so it can be used offensively, i believe he's stronger than Fox, and he flies higher than Fox.

Wolf- every single attack using "A" is diffrent than Fox, his reflector looks diffrent, his FireFox goes at a angle, and his FS is red.

Ganondorf- diffrent up and a, and diffrent attack animations than Captain.

Ness- has diffrent up a and down a, his up b dosen't go through people, he has PK Fire, and his FS seems to go more at a angle.

So there, all "clones" are diffrent, and i'm glad.

does anyone have a list of all the stages?

Wolf's Up B is faster, longer, and less powerfull than Foxes... and it looks totally different effects wise... and his blaster is also totally different

Toon Link can charge his Spin Attack... and his arrow has more range and is faster... and the bombs have more range too... and he also moves faster and more clumsy.. lkinda like luigi...

Falco's blaster has like a paralizer effect, unlike fox's no knockback attack

the one that honestly was not very changed was ganondorf... the look of the moves is different... like in Melee... but they work the same...

So pretty much all of the "clones" are pretty diffrent than their originator, except Ganondorf, and even he's got some diffrences.

Also, there's apparently 62 event matches.

41 you do solo, 21 you do co-op.

The co-op are a little diffrent apparently.

That's a lot of events, glad they have a good amount.

BTT will be fun, especially b/c of co-op, but 5 levels dosen't seem like much. Oh well, at least there's difficulty levels, and i previously stated, co-op.

BTT has different courses to unlock I think. Also, could there possibily be downloadable content? How awesome would that be?

All i'd care about for DLC is characters and stages.

Someone please tell this guy that there are more than 21 characters in SSBB.

First off, has just been revealed as a secret character, so that makes 22. Sonic ans Snake obviously must be unlocked as well, since they are not shown on the Brawl screen. That makes 24. The new Notice even states that secret characters and stages will be revealed later on, and trust me, Mewtwo will be one of those secret characters.

Think about it, have you ever been on an official Super Smash Bros. website that had shown all of the playable characters in that game, or did we have to find out for ourselves?

This game is going to sell Wiis like hotcakes... great, there goes my hopes for a price drop (I'm still having my kicks on PS2 and Gamecube).

These are minor complaints (I'm not really complaining, just nitpicking), but I do miss Mewtwo. I played as him ALOT. He had a very unique control scheme, was an original character (boo clones!), and could've had an amazing final smash. His elimination from the game (and the inclusion of... Lucario? never heard of him; and Squirtle/Ivysaur?) is rather baffling. Pichu at least was a lamer version of Pikachu, but Mewtwo was pretty cool.

I'm both glad and bummed that Ganondorf has returned, but I'm still disappointed he's doing his Captain-clone moves. Whenever I see him pull out that big sword, I seriously want to swing it, yet I can't. Sword-wielding Link vs. bare-fisted Ganondorf just doesn't feel right to me. Oh well, can't complain too much about that.

I'm also a tad sad more notable "classic" characters couldn't get guest spots in the game. Sonic was a great choice (Mario vs. Sonic will be legendary for the fanboys), but Snake was rather baffling. Cool, yes, but he really stands out (what, being a character from a realistic, military, M-rated game and all....). I, along with many others, was seriously hoping Megaman would drop in for some blaster fun. Bomberman would fit right in too. I would have also liked Viewtiful Joe, Pious Augustus from Eternal Darkness, or Kalas from Baten Kaitos (great foil for Pit) to have been in the game, but oh well.

That being said, not a bad final roster. It doesn't really impress me (where is Black Shadow?), but it's a solid line-up, and it'll be balanced I hope. Now for a month or so of pineful waiting.

being a falco fan, i have some reliefs and some concerns that i need answered, to anybody whos played it or seen vids IN DEPTH. i need info on falco.

a-is this true?

b-what is the fire rate and effect like compared to melee?

somebody said he has a paralizing factor, does this mean tehy get shocked in place opportune for a free hit? or does this mean it just has kick to it like his ssb melee pistol compared to fox's. meaning is it the same as melee?


abouthis reflector.

im not sure what to think about it, considering it travels away from him, this may not be ideal for REFLECTING. if people got bomb-ombs, you can only reflect the way you are facing?
what if you are in mid air? you cant change directions of aim very easy, with this being a D+B move (assuming), this will be very hard to execute and may cause alot of problems.

also.

what other things can his reflector do? ign reports it can be used offensively. how?

how are his slide dash and flaming dash compared to melee? distance? damage? speed? variations?

what are his normal "A" attacks like compared to melee? the vid resolutions suck so i cant tell anything.


as for the final smash.

i must say this dissapoints me. him, fox and wolf have the same smash......

cmon....

i think that falco of all 3 should have something different. something like pikachu or sonic, flying around constantly. but maybe in the state he is while flaming in his up+B flame dash, that would be AMAZING!!!!

ok from what ive seen ,ucario plays kinda...slow.do you remember the video where rayquazza appears and attacks fox and diddy and fox throws the reflector,does falco throw it like that?and wolf plays kinda the same as fox except his attacks look different,what gives?

Just saw a new Stage Builder vid. It looks so awesome. It was a vid of Lucario and Ike fighting in a cutsom stage that was way bigger than the Hyrule Temple. I'd give a link, but my laptop is being crappy, and I can't get into Youtube for some reason
