I find it rediculous because I believe that good communication is a learned trait. You're right, some folks DON'T have the time to go out and meet people for whatever reason, and I believe if this is the case then if they don't have time to go out and physically find someone then they probably don't have the time to contribute properly to the relationship either. If I have a career, and I'm so busy with my career that I don't have time to date, then I'm not going to go online and try it that way. Its not fair to the prospective partner if I don't have the time.

Yes I do know what an LDR is like, I've been in one. After my expierence, I claim LDRs are not real relationships simply because niether partner is actively contributing to the relationship. And I know love struck people will disagree with me and talk about how intimate communication can get, yes I know I've said that crap too, but I firmly believe that a dating relationship requires no more than a marriage: for the partners to be active in each others lives not only verbally but physically. That and people get lonely and cheat, I've seen it plenty of times. (Yes I do acknowledge some do work out, but they are certainly not many)

The fact of the matter is, there are just some areas that dating sucks. There are cities have have more or less couples. This will affect successful searches for singles. Also Cities have different attractions and cultural norms. This also affects dating. These people are desperate, and these people do have problems. The best way to handle it in my opinion is to find another "field" to plow in or check one's self to find things to modify to have better dating experiences. I don't think the answer is to resort to LDRs

Congratulations to those who found love here, or friends to discuss things that they can't do with people in their current lives.

I must also thank MKO for showing me that there are some pretty cool people all around the world. So many people with so many varied interests, it's so nice to see that in a community. The coolest forum I've ever been on, and I'm glad to be a part of it. Thanks!

Even though MKO is such a great place, i'm afraid i might have to leave due to personal issues, not so soon though, don't worry, the Character Tournament will be taken care of. Many of you'll know that MKOnline's Character Tournament has been a great success, and for those who don't, should check it out. MKO has given me the opportunity to create things like these, and contribute them to the world, and make people's lives more fun and enjoyable. The only thing i regret about mko is the visits..i wish that could be fixed...i regret it in 2 ways..one, i didn't post so often in the beginning and i didn't come on as often as i do now. and two. everytime you post, it increases your visit, well not everytime..actually it might be the pm.
well if i did, i should have about 10,000 visits by now..too bad..well..MKO has been a great ride.
