Umm... no. Nobody here understands/cares about the amen break. You're the only person who brought it up. You're acting like a kid at the movie theaters who makes some big scene like about something extremely trivial (e.g. "OMF! That guy there was in the prequel to this movie! His name is xxxxx and blah blah blah.")

They are shit and they know it. They had to get with Rick Rubens because he's good and they knew he might balance out their level of garbage. But then, all he does is add some shitty breaks and says that their sound has been reinvented. Totally pathetic last ditch effort. Of course, I've only heard the one song from the website, but anything else is probably just worse, knowing them.

There's not much to understand about using breaks in music like this, either. Their drummer simply can't keep up (although he is fairly good at what he does otherwise) so they add an old ass, unedited loop. They're just like Fear Factory using a drum machine.

I didn't even have to back up my opinion in the first place, though. I said that I might be able to stomach them more, not that everybody would be able to. My reason was a personal qualm. I really don't give a fuck what anybody else on this site thinks of them. I have nothing against you or Migle. I said what I said becuase that's what Migle and I do. We blindly flame each other. He insults my avatar, then I make an obscure reference that nobody gets/understands.

Going back and listening though Slipknot's first CD and Iowa, I want to love this band but... I just can't love a band that only has 3 or 4 decent songs a CD.

It's an old drum break that is used in (literally) half of any song ever made. Well, maybe not that much, but it's used a lot. It's tiresome when you hear it so much unedited. And don't feel dumb. I am an elitist asshole who makes references to things nearly nobody else will understand.

Just edit it a bit and add lots of distortion. Nobody will be able to tell. Just make sure you change the end, though. Everybody will know where it's from if you keep the splash at the end.
Actually, just leave it. While I'm sure your CD will be good, I doubt anybody will even notice (nor care) since it will probably be released in such small amounts (compared to the Slipknot CD). So, don't even bother until you're selling out stadiums next year

hmm Mushroomhead are okay but alot of there stuff sounds really forced and that they had a hard time writing it, but i guess thats what happen when you have like 18 songs on a cd.

Agreed. Although, from what I remember, Making Orange Things by vsnares+speedrach hurt my ears a lot more at full volume.

first of all quirk ur band sux. also i listen to mushroomhead and berzerkers is a poor mans hatebreed. also whoever compared good charlotte to slipknot should be put up on a cross. this new cd is the best disc thats come out in the last 5 years at least...

the berzerker are nothing like hatebreed, what are you on and volume 3 best album in the last 5 years, i think not, its good but not that good.
