OK, I came up with this idea a while back (in my language, about 3 days ago). My idea is that users on this forum choose a kombatant, then duke it out in a battle that is dictated by what they PM me. Example:

RandomUserName is Kabal
JonDoe01 is Mileena

RandomUserName PM's me, telling me he wishes to guard.

JonDoe01 PM's me, telling me he wishes to use Sai Throw.

Then, later, I post the results:

Mileena uses Sai Throw
Kabal uses Guard

Guard nullifies Sai Throw.

The battle will continue until one of the kombatant's hit points is reduced to 0. Once this happens, they move on to Round 2. It is a best-of-three contest. Whoever wins 2 rounds moves ahead in the tournament.

That is basically the rules in a nutshell. Once all the kombatants have been chosen, I will explain the rules more in depth.

Now to move to step 1: Choosing a character. I will post the list of characters from MK1-MKDA (I will not include MKD characters yet, as we do not know everything about it yet), then anyone who wishes to participate will post on this thread on who they wish to be.
