Dude i thought people was a plural, and then for plurals the term that may be correct is "are" not "is", even im not a native speaker that is basic english

The only one I've seen with perfect punctuation so far, on both IRC and here on the forums, is VenoMark.

Maybe it is a good thing to brush up our general grammar skills.

I agree, it is a good idea (that was never the problem for me). However, I don't think Siduu should be the one giving the lessons. Simply because his grammar and spelling is also bad. Perhaps VenoMark would lend his services?

My grammar is horrible in Spanish, French and English, so that's not something it's gonnab e solved with a thread, maybe if i reborn?

So, I'll try my best to provide as much information as possible for some of you here. (Double space after the end of a sentence, Capitalize first letter of sentence, comma missing, comma unneeded..)
First,we'll be doing a grammar quiz based on sentence punctuation. (Misuse of articleA, improper word order.>
These quizzes will be held every two days. (Runon sentence, missing double space, excessive use of words in improper structure.)
I'll update every other day, and if anyone feels like helping; they can contact me. (Excessive words, lack of proper comma/semicolon punctuation, incomplete sentences.)
Don't think this thread is for injudicious people.(Unneeded runon sentence, Full-stop/period)
It's to help all of us improve our knowledge of grammar. (Capitalize sentence, dbl space, wrong preposition.)
It might even be I who really needs the lessons, or people who may speak different language(s). (Wrong pronoun, missing comma, misuse of the word maybe, should include parenthesis for those that speak 1 or multiple.)


There is a reason I went to the trouble of correcting your sentences. Your spelling was pretty on notch, and you got your point across. Maybe it isn't a grammar lesson in order, but tolerance for those that don't want to follow strict English rules. Just maybe, English is a bastard language for rules. I look at it this way: as long as people understand the idea, then grammar is a minor point.'

Sure, throw in a period every once in a while so people know when to stop. Just don't worry about proper grammar.

It doesn't mean we need to get on people's cases for it. Even I screw up grammar/spelling at times.

I'd suggest to give other users a break. I mean if it's really bad, be nice and ask them to restate the question. Elsewise do what I do, sarcasm 'Ingles por favor.'

I just noticed that you made a mistake in the beginning of your sentence when you wrote to. When it's really through so you see,everyone isn't perfect at grammar that's why I created this thread.
