If you've really played the Street Fighter series seriously and not just a casual play through you'd see the big differences in damage, range, speed and how each fighters specials and physical attacks chain and connect.

My fave game in the series so far is SF3:Second Impact...hopefully the new collection fixed the combos that were missing from 2nd impact for 3rd Strike.

I'm severely tempted to get the PS2 collection but want the X-box online playability in the event I get broadband sometime soon again...

Anyone that has the new collection, is the animated film edited? My guess is yes...?

They were mainly just name changes.

"M. Bison (Mike Bison)", the boxer, was a play on the name "Mike Tyson", "Balrog" was the name of the masked dancer/fighter, and "Vega" was the name of the final boss.

The names were changed for the US version, supposedly to avoid any lawsuits by Tyson or any of his promoters. The Japanese versions of the SF games retains the ORIGINAL names of the fighters, not the altered US names.

Oh...well i wasnt aware of the Japanese version having different names than the US version. Nice to know. Kind of confusing though.

All hail to IRON MIKE BISON! And speaking of Mike Tyson, he filed for bankrupcy, so I don't think Capcom has any more fears of lawsuit from that guy.

My all time favorite characters in Street Fighter are Ryu and Ken, they are like the Sub-Zero and Scorpion in MK but exept they are best friends.

What is this SFAE you speak of? I never heard of it, and if they were making SF4, trust me we would know about it. Please explain this to me.

As for Street Fighter, it has an awesome cast and great characters. I only wish a better storyline was applied to the game as a whole. But, yes, it is indeed an enjoyable game, and a classic series. All hail Street Fighter...

I love Vega's song when you have to fight in the bar when the steel cage is dropped on top of you.

Another great song is Ryu's song when you fight him in his stage, I kick so much ass when that song plays.
