False, but here is a nice reckless fireworks story: My sister has her birthday on Nov 5th. When we were young my parents always got lots of fireworks for her parties. One year, I think I was about 11 and she was turning 9, I was allowed to be the family pyrotechnician. BIIIGGGG mistake. So we are all in the garden. It's pretty dark so no one can see what I am doing. I tell my sis and all her little friend to "stand there against that wall, you will see best from there". I shoot a couple of things off. I take a big ass Roman candle (is that what they called? Cant remember. A big thing that shoots balls out) and lay it on its side aiming at them. Fuck, kids are irresponsible . They were quite far away at least, but oh man it was funny watching all those little girls scatter and dive into the bushes. Let's just say I was not ever put in charge of fireworks again.
