Yes, Shihad were (fairly) recently forced to change their name to Pacifier break into the U.S market because people thought that "shihad" sounded too much like "jihad" and it was considered "offensive" by some arrogant over patriotic fuck, so they had to change the band name which they had for the better part of their fame...or something equally pathetic.

I listen to a lot of unusual stuff still no one has probably ever heard of, but outside of your typical rock/metal vein. So most of the people in this thread will not have heard of them for the sake that this is just not what you listen to.
