Ponify

Ponify: An add-on that makes the whole internet use pony lingo! There's a how-to video tutorial in the page.

Here's the address in case the link above doesn't work. (First time using links.)
http://pterocorn.blogspot.com/2011/10/ponify.html

Ponify works best with Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome/Chromium. This add-on detects certain words and replaces them with their ponified equivalents, such as everybody is replaced with everypony, hand/foot = hoof, Dr. Who = Dr. Whooves.

If you ever get tired of ponify (You traitor!), or just wanna turn it off for some reason it, can be turned off relatively quickly in the add-ons bar at the upper right corner. You can even add your own replacements for words that are not initially included in the replacement list (a list for some stuff below). You can choose to color-highlight ponified words, or you can use the tooltips, which allows you to see the un-ponified word when you hover your mouse over the word, and you can choose to enable Pseudo Threading if the add-on is causing things to run slowly. (Pseudo Threading loads the page first and then scans the page for any words in your replacement list.)

You have a website list and can add websites to the list, you can choose how the add-on interprets the list, as a blacklist, or a whitelist. Any websites in the blacklist will NOT be affected by Ponify, any websites in a whitelist WILL be Ponified and all others will not. I personally use the blacklist, and blacklisted the MLP:FiM websites I visit, as things can become confusing for a number of reasons. Though I think the whitelist is a little broken or something for me, as it doesn't really work, nothing is ponified, so I suggest using the blacklist instead. The add-on is most fun when everything is ponified.

Here's a list of words that you can add to the replacement list (if they aren't already there):

american - amareican

americans - amareicans (america - amareican is already included)

dollar - bit

dollars - bits

cash - bits

eat - graze on

eating - grazing on

ate - grazed on

facebook - ponybook

facepalm - facehoof

footprint (and handprint, along with fingerprint) - hoofprint

footprints (and handprints, along with fingerprints) - hoofprints

halloween - nightmare night

kid - yearling

kids - yearlings

only human - only equine

a pony - an equine

the cake is a lie - the cake is a lyra

go to hell - get banished to the moon

Remember, whoever is reading this, you are unknowingly using pony lingo! Muahahahahaha!!!

That is my post from page two of this thread. With new bronies being born after the time I had posted that, I figured I should repost it.

My girlfriend kept showing me clips of this show a few days ago. For the life of me i could not understand why any one who was not a little, preteen girl would enjoy it. I'm not trying to bash or troll here, I am 100% out of the loop on this thing. It doesn't strike me as a bad show, but I don't see why older people would like anything about it. The humor is obviously geared towards a much younger crowd. Like I can understand the appeal of say shows like Sponge Bob Square Pants, but this show fails to match even Sponge Bob's level of humor and wit. I honestly don't get the craze surrounding this show not even when I try.

Either that was also a 30 Rock reference or something's happening.

Then it is simply not for you. Even if you try to get it, but still cannot, then it most likely means that this TV show isn't for you.

But let me try a little:
We like this show, because we think it's good. We like it for it's good writing, well-written characters which we can relate to, good humor (for us, at least), and its charm. Have you watched several episodes, like five or something? If you already have, and still cannot get it, then you can give up now, if you wish.

Not everyone enjoys the same things. One person can enjoy a certain show, but another person will not like it. This can be applied to Mortal Kombat as well, one person may like MK, but another will not.

(Oh and Lauren Faust, storyboard artist, writer, director, and supervising director of the Powerpuff Fillies, is also the creator, developer, and current consulting producer of MLP:FiM. She also played a big part in Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends.)

Woah, I totally didn't think of the Power Rangers.

----------
Cutie Mark Crusaders - Powerpuff Girls

Applebloom - Blossom

Sweetie Belle - Bubbles

Scootaloo - Buttercup

Big McIntosh - Professor Utonium
(Apparently, judging by the Hearts and Hooves Day episode. I recall seeing a similar Valentine's Day episode where the Professor falls in love with Ms. Keane, the Powerpuff Girls' teacher. Other canditates for the Professor Utonium role are Twilight, Rarity, or Applejack.)

Cheerilee - Ms. Keane

Diamond Tiara - Princess Morbucks

I really liked this book.

Dead Space: Martyr is set hundreds of years before Dead Space. It tells how an alien artifact, the Black Marker, was found. And the creation of the religion formed around its discovery, Unitology.

I'm so eager to understand why this show has gotten such a popular responce from so many people.

I loved the classic one when i was (very) little, but, after reading so many comments about this show here in MKO, I tried to give the first 2 episodes a chance and I just couldn't enjoy the show. :-/

Were my expectations too high? maybe....but, I really am jealous that i can't seem to find the appeal of this show because it all sounds like exactly the kind of thing I'd enjoy to watch for fun.

I might give it another chance.

The first two episodes of seasons 1 and 2 are different from the rest of the episodes. The other eps are more like a "day in the life" kind of episodes. Try watching again, maybe you'll enjoy it after watching episodes that are not season openers.
