You should try using Human Smoke over Scorpion, since H Smoke is a much more powerful character.
As for MKT on live, I have a feeling we'll eventually see some kind of incarnation of it. I don't know what the deal would be with filesize limits though cause it could get pretty hefty eventually.

HQ MKT on XBLA would rock. I don't think the filesize will be a problem. They put demos up on XBLA to download and try out that are well over 400 megs, and even at full UMK3 arcade quality, MKT wouldn't be anywhere near that large. An option to not allow bosses would be a requirement along with a lot of balancing (unless Noob and Rain get lumped in with the Bosses at least).

M$ is now doing Live Arcade Wednesdays. Last wednesday, they released Frogger (yay!) and tomorrow they will release Cloning Clyde (wtf?). After that the schedule is: Galaga, SF2:HF, then Pac-Man. Nothing has been announced after that.
I have to say though...unless you are playing against someone with a good connection and/or close to you...frogger online SUCKS...it lags hardcore and there is button loss galore. I really hope that SF2/UMK online is not near this bad.

I know some games try to do this thing to fix lag but it just adds other problems. Battlefield 2 adds a delay to slow weapons like rocket launchers. So if a foe is shooting U and U decide to rocket him cus ur about to die, U will hear urself hit the button THEN U die. Its such BS but I guess its better than having other guy see a dead man shoot him.
Applied to mk: kabal's spin is deadly with net play. With this thing its good 4 foe but makes high level play impossible cus having good reflexs wont matter

Cool... is it like the regular 360 wired controller, where it works with a PC right out of the box? Or does the Hori stick need some sort of converter?Man this stick works PERFECTLY for Mame play. I just need to "add" a button for run to make it feel perfect and I'll never go back to the x-arcade.

Im sorry you believe that because i have a 360controller that i used on my pc for when I play umk3 on MAME. Its the biggest pain the ass. Mainly because of the D-pad made it difficult just to do a down to forward move without jumping instead for that matter just walking forward without jumping. Its nots so bad for street fighter though. But Microsoft MUST let other companies in on making gamepads for it if they want that game to be fun because to my experience its just a pain in the ass!

Buy a PS2 Pad and a PS2 USB PC Connector, the best solution for having a Gamepad on PC.

If I play MK with a keyboard a 5 year old can beat me, where if I use a controller like SNES or Xbox I believe I can take on anyone honestly.Keyboards weren't meant for fighting games from the layout, shooters I can totally see but fighters? No way, not for me anyway.
Give me a D-pad with a controller, play me with your keyboard and you might find out that that's not true in my case ^^.
There are many advantages to keyboards, there's almost nothing that a gamepad has over a keyboard.
The things with gamepads is they limit you to thumbs and sometimes trigger fingers. Whereas keyboards, you can use 4 fingers for 5 buttons, making it really easy to charge stuff like bike kicks, ground pounds etc.
Another thing about gamepads, is they are handheld. Which means I get tempted to throw them very hard if I get frustrated, but with keyboards....
Keyboards also allow you to use 4 fingers for each direction. So you have several advantages there, like buffering while ducking.
AND THE BLISTERS!!! AAAAAHHHH!!!!
People can be better with either one, but what I'm sayindg is you can be betterER with a keyboard. There's potential.

I've owned MK Gold on PC, and most other MK's on consoles. but I would take a controller over a keyboard for a fighting game ANY day.

He's right.
He's right.
I can't play fighting games worth jack on a keyboard.
Keyboards lack proper button size/placement for such games (making it cumbersome to say the least)...not to mention how crappy a direction pad the keys make.
Nothing like trying to play a fighter on a kb and having your fingers stumble over the wrong buttons.

I miss buttons all the time on controllers. On one of the gamepads I have, the d-pad sticks out a little, so if I furiously go for the 'up' direction, my thumb will hit the bottom of the d-pad and hurts like a mother.
