VGX 2013 (Video Game Awards)

Joel McHale giving no fucks and poking fun at Doritopope, Reggie, and Tim Schafer was about the only highlight in a very dull stream of videogames I don't care about.
And GOD WAS IT BORING.
But you know what? At least it was boring and not horrifyingly terrible to sit through like the past vgas so I guess there's that.

I watched my friend play the entire thing. Had no desire to play it. GTA is a lot of peoples favorite game, but it has never and will never be mine.

Quantum Break and a new Borderlands looks good. I may check out the next gen version of Tomb Raider, but other than, the gaming news from the show seemed pretty lackluster.

I lol'd the entire time watching this. "And the winner is...Gone Home." *Nobody claps* "Come on, guys, clap"
Based Joel Mchale.

If I had to say the highlights they'd probably be Joel Mchale and that Abbie girl from Respawn helping show Titanfall. Those were the only things that didn't suck.

From the sounds of things I'm glad I didn't try and find a stream of this. Sounds like it was painful to watch.
When I hear people talk about Broken Age I keep thinking that they mean Broken Sword.
There is a new one out this month and literally no one cares! Shame.
GTA5 was a great game, but I'm over it now.
It's funny how games in the 90s & 00s had more replayablity than ALOT of games today.
Glad Injustice won best fighter of course!
And I'm excited for Tomb Raider on next (current) gen. Glad i didn't buy any DLC for the original version.

Honestly, I think it's the simplicity of them.
Even with games like Donkey Kong Country 2, they weren't as complex and complicated as they are now. You can play them over and over and have that same fun feeling, because it's easy to enjoy. Nowadays, games piss you off quicker than anything.
Even now, as much as I love Soulcalibur IV and V, I know I am more likely to play Soulcalibur II longer than either of them. Hell, the majority of time I spend playing SCV, it's to unlock equipment for the character creation.
And then there's Call of Duty. Go away, Call of Duty.
