no this is not junk mail, the key is in Raggae, okay how many songs have you heard with the same beat? like elephant man, Pitbull, nina Skye, all the same beat, well if you're interested in music I believe there is Big money in producing for Jamaican Raggae artists just a thought...

well you gotta remember that the technology there isn't state of the art, in other words poor but they work with what They got, But since you make music and I assume you like Raggae or weed, w/e you could look into producing In Jamaica there's big money to be made...

okay? but before I react lemme ask you this: william hung really sucks I mean bad... all I'm doing here is informing that Producers have a better chance of making money in a place that has high demand for them. William Hung this is not... That was just wrong blatant random and wrong I just don't get you...
Reggae isn't the same as Dancehall. Dancehall is the type of music they play in clubs there. Vybz is fairly new. Nice vocals. Weak beats. I've never heard a dancehall song with a good beat.
Oldschool reggae beats (or Dub, at least) were pretty amazing for their time. A lot of the producers of that time invented a LOT of hardware effects. I still use an emulater Tape Delay that the old dub producers invented.
Kind of a weird topic, but I agree with you.

well I do envy the fact that you know more about it than me because right now I'm in a primo position, there being my Jamaican friends my current house in Ft. Lauderdale and my mom who works at an airline so I could make yearly trips but I don't know much on production and yea dancehall tends to carry a beat with a decent enough knock or flow to just go along with all the dry-humping that ensues...

You obvously don't. What I meant was that it sounds like you're saying all you have to do is come up with music that any idiot can enjoy and buy, no matter how bad it is. All he did was cover songs that were already popular and sang horribly. What you wrote about was taking an already popular beat and rap/sing over it. It IS the same thing.

Dude what? perhaps you misunderstood, I brought it up because of a lack there of, not because of the simplicity, unless you mean that the people needed a poorly talented asian man...

I can understand where the confusion sets in. I was refering to how simple it is to do what you said. The fact that the is a lack of the music is just a bonus, seeing as how people would buy it if it's the only thing out. No semi-retarded asians required.

well people buy it cuz it's a vast majority of what they listen to, but statisticly there is 5 artists for every producer in Jamaica That was my point.

The only vaguely reggae song I can think of off the top of my head is Informer by Snow. So I don't know if a person would get rich quick.
