Yes, the thread has been done before, but the answers are always changing. There really isn't much to say other than that, as the questions explains itself, so I'll go straight to my answer.

As one or two of you guys know, I'm currently saving up and bass-hunting. I decided I'm going to upgrade to a six-string this summer. I'm think about getting Ibanez BTB, since I've had a lot of luck with my previous Ibanez SR305. Here's a pic for those unfamiliar(read: all of you).



But I'm a tad hesitant to get this, since it can't be played without two nine-volt batteries, which is not only expensive in the long run, but it is an absolute pain in the ass to change batteries in an Ibanez bass. I probably go with the next bass(although I haven't ruled the BTB out just yet), which is John Myungs new signature. It also has active electronics, but Yamaha's batteries aren't compacted air-tight within their basses. Here's a pic straight from Mr. Myung's site.

I cant wait to get a new Shelf system stereo.I need one badly because I have a Mono TV set with only one speaker.It sounds bad on games like Marvel Vs Capcom 2,Capcom Vs SNK 2:EO you cant hear most of the sound effects.Im looking for one that lets you hook up your console's AV jacks to the back of the radio.Anyone know where I can get one online like that?

Hmm...I was thinking about getting a half stack amp a while back, but I don't have a band, and I don't really need that big an amp unless I have a band that intends to play live. Oh yea, I've also been thinking about getting a digital recorder, and maybe a drum machine, so I can make a CD without a band...too damn hard to find drummers.

Oh yea, I'm also anticipating getting my own car (FINALLY) this summer.

lol, my bad. I knew you were into guitar, but wasn't sure if you knew much about basses. Anyway, I'd go for the Amp if I were you. Even if you don't play life, you can get a better tone out of it more than likely. I have a 100watt. bass combo amp, but I don't even think that is going to be loud enough for live play.

I'm looking forward to actually having money again, between my car, insurance, student loan, PC, etc I am fucking broke till MID JUNE when some of those bills will be paid off. Then I can get my baller status back...

As for the near term, I'm looking forward to checkin Kill Bill out tomorrow and the weather this weekend is supposed to clear up, 70's here we come!

Ahh, fellow guitarists just sooth me... I am anticipating the following things in order-

1. My new Ibanez RG170 Deluxe coming in the mail, not the best of the best but greater that anything I could imagine that $300 dollars would buy you.
2. Sex, heh heh, you know you all did or do. wink
3. Terminator 3: The Redemption.
4. My full stack Marshall Amp, not sure which one in particular since I know it will be a year or so before I save up for it.
5. Having no brace/cast etc. on my leg in six weeks (had the cast for six now a brace for six but at least I can walk in it).

I cant wait to soop up my mercedes. I almost have enough money to low ride it, get sicker rims, tilted windows, blue lights underneath, a t.v. with a ps2 inside, and purple lights. Once this is done, i'll be cruisin on the highway proudly, pickin up hot chicks, ridin with my boys, doin missions like.......AHEM, but yea anyways, i'm looking forward to this, i want to see how good my car will be once i compare it to my cousins sivic.

I'm also looking forward to seeing one of my other cousins that lives in Los Angelas. Hes probably one of my favourite cousins, and the last time i've seen him was when i was 7. We've had awesome childhood memories, and i simply cant wait to meet him again. I'll be meeting him this summer.

Theres also other things i'm looking forward to, but meh, those are the most important ones.

I guess getting my first job this summer since I can't drive yet I'll have no insurance or car payments to make so I'll have alot of money to spend, then I can get my amp and some other stuff for my guitar like a distortion pedal and other amp accesories. Oh yeah... wink

Quite a few things...here they are in order by lest important to most:

- My new computer; I will finally be able to play games again (3200, 1024, 256) woo guess what number is what muahha.

- Moving; moving in with my girlfriend in a couple months and finally out of my dad's place.

- Getting married; of course the most important is getting hitched with my woman. She is amazing.

I'm anticipating getting some time to practice my guitar, and getting good at it. All I do is play around on it like a monkey. Heheh, but that's not all I do practice songs on tab. I can't wait until I start a band with a friend of mine, and know how to play my guitar.

Another thing I'm anticipating is Van Halen's reunion tour. I can't wait to see them in St. Louis!! My god that is going to be so awesome. I thought I would never be able to see them.

Last thing, something that I was anticipating, but have gotten tired of anticipating. Doom 3. I have been waiting for the game, and it's still not out. So if "id" thinks that they're raising my anticipation, well they're not. All they're doing is making me get tired of waiting, and forget the game all together. Being bored, has also, gotten me tired of being "bored" so I am no longer. smile
