ok i scared myself...

ok well, the one thing i am truelly afraid of, oh my god i know im going to be laughed at because of this, ugh, im afraid of manicans, yes manicans, yes i know they are just statues with clothes but i still fear them, especially now since some of them are painted, ugh it scares me too much.

You mean gargoyles. Actually they are angels like cherubs that were meant to protect castles from evil spirits. The reason for them appearing as ferocious lions, eagles, etc was to be as formadable and intimidating as the evil spirits that would wish to enter the castles. Basically fighting fire with fire. So one can consider gargoyles as protectors of the house from evil spirits.
