I don't like heights. I ride roller coasters and stuff, but like standing on the roof of a skyscraper and shit ain't for me.

Flying. I fly, not since May 01, but I do. I don't like it tho. I'm seriously considering never flying again. It's not just because of 9/11 and terrorists, it's just cause dying that way would be so horrible. I look at some sites online that show crashes and have black box recordings, shit is so eerie. Imagine 50 ppl screaming and two pilots yelling 'we're going down...omg we're going downnnnnnnnnn god nooooooooo' and then all you hear is 'boom'. Probably make you not wanna fly either.

Spiders/Snakes/Scorpions - Basically anything my gf would call 'icky'. I hate these things. I hate centipedes and milipedes. I hate snakes, can't stand snakes, nor tarantulas. Why anyone would want one as a pet is beyond me.

Those shitty bridges. Not the ones on highways and stuff, I mean those ones in the woods. Connecting two valleys with one of those wooden briges that moves when you walk on it. The ones you see in the Lost Boys and stuff. We have one here at this amusement park, pretty high off the ground. In the words of Tony Montana - 'Fuck that mayne.'

I hate SPIDERS!!! Bloody creepy things, they're so ugly. I'm just glad that I live here and not in Austrailia where common house spiders are HUGE.

I do the exact same thing, friend. I watch Snake and Spider shit on tv ALL THE TIME.

Which, actually reminds me. I'm scared shitless of Great White Sharks, but when 'Shark Week' is on Discovery, I'm GLUED to the tv. Also the Jaws series is some of my fav movies of all time.

I do have arachnophobia as well, but It's cool to watch them work the way they do in their habitat.

I've been to Australia, It's pretty bitching actually, We didnt have spiders, the house was fairly new. but I suggest going there, it's worth it.......mates

Isn't that funny? That we're fascinated by what we're afraid of. I have no problem watching it behind a tv screen, but if I was there I'd be running like a madman....

blade-tsung, my sis is scared of Sharks, yet she loves em and watches EVERY shark week! I gotta admit, although I'm not scared of em, they look freakin meanacing and they're so smooth in the water - people have no chance against em when in the water.

nizzim I have thought about going to Austraila and I even have relatives there, so I'll probably end up going sometime! My family almost moved to New Zealand, but we came to Canada instead - no regrets
Oh and I was freaked about that girl from 'the ring' after watching it. For a while I kept thinkin she was gonna be in my closet when I opened it...

I dont have any fear of hieghts. I like riding Roller Costers and looking Down from the CN tower.
However, when i was a kid i was really scared of water. I didnt know why...i guess i was just afarid of drowning cause i had that experience before. But now i enjoying swimming at the beach and swimming pools.

As for animals, iam not scared of them...cause i work with them almost every week. I have a pet trantula at home and its pretty cool keeping one. But the one animal that really freaks the pants out of me has to be BIG HAIRY RATS!! Yuk i hate them. I read a newspaper once and it had an article that said: "In NYC a homeless man was sleeping. He felt something tickling his foot. When he opened his eyes a Huge rat was chewing on his toe. He lost his toe and never found the rat."
I heard the rats in NYC's subway stations are freaking HUGE.
Well other than rats i dont have a fear of anything else.

Wierd how things work out isnt it?I find myself watching alot of spider type shows.I like spider movies,but when I see them I flip.I want to go to Australia too,damn spiders are huge though.One thing im not afraid of though,that everyone else is,would be sharks,im fascinated by these things.My favorite sea animal out of them all.And with snakes,I dont know,always liked them.Dont see them too often where I live (normal,no bushes or anything around,just houses) I dont see them often,but when I do,I love them.I will go right up to them.Watch them and everything.BUT if I saw a boa-constrictor (my favorite snake) I would stay the FUCK away from that thing.After seeing all the specials on them,wow.

Another thing I watch all the time.Ghost shows,dont know why,guess im just curious of what I dont know.

I feel the exact same way. I've always been afraid that I'd be too indecisive to choose a career, and end up living at home and working crappy jobs like I do now. Although I've begun to seriously consider becoming a teacher, so the whole career thing might not be that big a deal. But another form of failure I fear is social failure, in other words, not really having good friends or a girlfriend.

As for more phobia-type fears, well, I'm a little afraid of spiders because if one gets on me I might never know where it goes. Same with a lot of bugs, actually. Also, the open ocean. See, when I was younger I was really interested in animals, and I had a lot of animal books. One of these books had a photo of a whale in the middle of the ocean; for some reason I found it kinda creepy, the idea of being alone and abandoned, thousands of miles from land and safety.
