Physically: I prefer shoulder length hair or shorter, I don't really care what color. For her eyes, I'd like blue, green, or grey, something with a little more soul than brown eyes ( I have eyes that are about 80% brown and 20% green and I loathe their coloring). When it comes to the face, I prefer little make-up save for a little rouge and some lightly colored lipstick. I like a defined nose, but not like a huge Streisand schnauze. Penelope Cruz is a good example of a good nose to face ratio. I think the nose actually has a lot to do with whether or not I find a girl attractive, perhaps its an imperfection I find attractive, I don't know, I'm just weird. Anywho, when it comes to height, as a short person, I'd like her to be as tall if not taller than me (I'm 5'7" or 170.18 cm if my Metric conversion is right). For build, I prefer slender girls but she doesn't need a 6 -pack, or any pack for that matter. I don't need Power Girl, just a gracefully thin woman.

Personality: Intelligence is very important to me; I'd like someone on the same level as me or smarter. But most importantly I need a girl who is genuinely sweet; someone to be a bridge between my curmudgeonly self and the rest of the world. I need a Nora Fries or a Trudy Monk; I'm Ebenezer Scrooge and I need a Belle. But of course a common set of core values and interests is key. Basically, I need the half of me that I am missing. I want a girl who is kind and sweet; that feels things I don't. The type of girl who takes in an injured shrew or cries at a movie. Those sorts of emotions are long since gone in me, replaced by sarcasm and greed, but to have someone share them with me, it makes me feel a bit more whole, ya'know? Beyond that I need her to be a little more outgoing than me. I want her to be someone who will show me new things, teach me to relax and with whom I'll have fun. If I were to date someone like myself it would be like dating Anne Coulter or an Icicle. Style: I'd like her style to be a little less uptight than mine. So she should wear jeans, Ts, sneakers, etc. Though, I'd prefer it if it wasn't too revealing; nothing slutty. I'd prefer it if she didn't have to wear glasses, because I have to and I hate them, but it wouldn't put me off enough to not ask her out or break up. Most importantly, she should be well groomed. Shower everyday, wash her hair every day, maintain good oral hygiene, all that jazz. Along with that, I would prefer it if she took very good care of her hands and feet. I rather enjoy holding hands and it can be ruined if her hands are dirty or her nails are unclean. As for the feet, I absolutely hate feet, on anyone. So seeing as how the chances are high that I might see them, I would prefer it if they were well taken care of.

I absolutely love tattoos, even the tacky ones. The fact someone would mark their body with any form of artwork is a huge interest to me, especially where it's placed, I think what they get done and where it's placed says a lot about them. I didn't think I'd ever had a preference before, but it turns out most of the men I've been with in the past have had dark hair. I never really go for blondes, but that's not to say they're not my type at all, it's just that I'll notice dark hair quicker. Well, it's not what attracts me to A girl, but THE girl, my crush-
Her personality. She loves those kiddie playful arguments and they often tend to end up with me being called weak, stupid, or insane, in which case I respond with "You're too kind."

So much of what people find attractive is based on physicality that I think it's underrated. I know within minutes (less maybe) if I'm physically attracted to a woman. And honestly...it's not just limited to a certain "'type" so eye color/hair/color/height/ethnicity all that just doesn't matter. I tend to be more attracted to athletic/tomboyish women but it's not a hard rule. If we're talking someone you fall for in a relationship however, it really boils down to a solid friendship outside of the initial attraction.

I can tell you that with my girlfriend, I was attracted to her physically right away. What really sealed the deal though is that, since we were at work, I got to see how she was interacting with some young children. She seemed sweet, had a nice laugh, and a beautiful smile.
