Say you never had to work again, but you still received a moderate income of 50k a year. I would wake up early everyday and enjoy the sunrise, go for a walk with my wife that pretty much lasts the whole day, enjoying all of the things that nature has to offer. For the evenings it would be movies and video games, along with star gazing and bonfires. Yup, the simple life for me. Oh yeah and lots of yummy food

The same thing I'm doing now, except on a larger scale. Expand. My bills cost more then 50k a month

Well if I never had to work again, but still had a small income.I'd probably start working out when I wake up, then spend my days play video games and getting caught up on my back log of games. Once I'm through with that, I'd probably start looking into 3d modeling and printing as a hobby. I'd also look into volunteering at an animal rescue and working with rescued animals.

I will rock you.

I have never worked.
To add to this I would play video games forever because that is already what I am doing ha ha ha.

No way I could survive on 50k a year even now, but I like to imagine what I'd do if I won the lottery quite often though. I'd probably still have the same life style I have now, but I'd have way nicer stuff (house, car, etc.). I'd still work though, I love my job and it gives me a sense of purpose and accomplishment, outside of being a dad. I'm definitely not a guy who could just sit around all day watching tv and playing video games, I'd go crazy.

Same kinda shit I do now but without having to worry about having a roof over my head. I already don't work, I'm a full time college student but I am supported by family. I take this hypothetical to mean, like, if I was able to be supported without having to work and without having to rely on someone else for support.
And as I said...same type of shit most likely...but maybe on a bigger scale, because I'd have more money. Getting fucked up and playing video games. I'd probably do a little bit of travelling, too if I get could get over my anxiety.

I was thinking the same thing. It's definitely nice to think about what it would be like to hit the lottery. I don't think I'd do much different than what I list in my previous post, except take a really long vacation to de-stress and clear my head. It's certainly nice to think about what it would be like to be be debt free and be able to just wipe out your debt all at once.

50K a year? ehh, I'd probably still work I guess. I'd die of boredom if I didn't.
Now if I was set for life and never had to worry about money again, I'd travel the world. Definitely that. I'd probably pursue another degree too

Im sorry, but There's no way in hell anyone can live on 50k a year. You would still have to work.

Lol yeah i make 44k a year and i own my own 120k house, have enough money to pay all of my bills, get video games whenever i feel like i can and pay off debt as well. Steve odekirk on bill Maher said that 50k a year is the sweet spot for income, that's where i based that number at. Now talk to someone who works minimum wage at 40 hours a week and brings home 350 dollars a week, now that is an income not quite livable my friend.

Considering 50K is at least 5-7 times more than I made last year, I wouldn't mind

50k a year is not moderate. 50k is rich. In 2013 i received a little over £1000. For the entire year. I got dicked out of a LOT of income that year though.
Since I moved, (after rent but not other bills) I live on £30-35 per week.
I live like i have no obligations because it's the only thing i can do to stay sane. I write for fun, I play video games and i whack off whenever i want because if i didn't i'd be focussed solely on what's wrong with my life and i'd be a miserable fuck all the time.

If I didn't have to work anymore I would focus a lot more on my acting and stunt career. Plus get back into marital arts, working out a little more and travel to different places that I have not been to yet.

Yeah, I'd say 50-75k a year is pretty reasonable. It's usually what civil servants (police and fire fighter make). It's not a ton of money if you think interns of corporate america, but it's very reasonable.
