whats the most expensive video game you ever bought.

the most expensive game i ever bought is darkstalkers chronicle the chaos tower for psp. i bought it brand new a few days ago and paid 66.89 for it. i got it from amazon and the shipping/handling was 3.99. iv'e had a blast with it and i'll be playing it later today. it was worth every penny to get my favorite fighting game series of all time.

so what's your most expensive game you ever boughten for any console or pc. it could be a collector edition or whatever. just post your most expensive game you boughten. did you buy it new or used. what console did you get the game for. where you purchased it. did you buy it online or at the store. did you preorder it. if bought online how much did you pay for shipping/handling for it.

no idea, probably 120 for Duke Nukem Forever. It will blow I am sure but its sort of a nerdy obligation. Even if it does suck the duke stature you get with it is worth it for me.

Probably a toss up between the Tournament Edition of Mortal Kombat, and the Legendary Edition of Halo: Reach.

it is more akin to watching something for the upteenth time. It is stock, not inherently bad. There are some truly epic portions, but the game gets old fast, so I advise playing it sporadically.



And... ironically, the most expensive game is either Duke Nukem 3D, or if we allow datadisk stuff, Red Alert 1 stuff.

Any game that I bought the day of release. Those usually cost about 65 US Dollars with tax and such, and I never get special editions or anything.

Special Editions equal out to you getting a tin box, plastic figure of the main character, and an art book that you will look through once. That is usually all, and its like $20 extra lol.tongue

The most expensive would have to be....the KE of Mortal Kombat (2011) (including shipping) at $108.63....
Not counting a collector's edition, I guess it would have to be either Fallout 3: GotH or...Bioshock. Can't quite remember.

I can easily remember the cheapest games I've bought, though.

Mortal kombat 10-60.(Day it came out at 6:00am walmart ) strategy guide-20. Mortal kombat 9 total 90 including tax. I also bought a ps3 just for this new game so really abought 410. All worth it..grin

Grand Theft Auto IV, but it was the limited edition version which came with cool and practical stuff I still use on a regular basis today. A CD with songs from the game's soundtrack, an art book, a freaking lock box, a totally sweet Rockstar keychain, and an awesome duffle bag I use whenever I'm taking games and accessories to someone else's house.

I'd probably have to say Little Big Planet, which was only $30 at the time.

I don't buy my own games often, but when I do, it's usually about three years after the game I buy was released. lol

I do plan on getting Pokemon White soon, though.

I'd say Red Dead Redemption, I bought the game but I bought every single expansion you could think of, that was around 140 bucks spent over the span of a year for one game
