Yeap.
You're gay.
Haha
| krackerjack Wrote: This isn't aimed in any particular direction, but it sort of seems slightly relevant. I find it funny how people go out of their way to state that they don't have anything against homosexuals. If you bring up the line "i don't have anything against gays", or something similar out of blue, it's quite clear you do. Doesn't necessarily mean you hate them, but to me, it says "i see your sort differently than i see my sort", regardless of whether you discriminate against homosexuals or not. If i was gay i would feel a little patronized by it. Enough off-topic banter though. Hetrosexual hat wearing bowlers, unite! |
Since you went out of your way to say that, clearly you must be the same case.

I have to ask a question. What does it matter? Do you earn money? I am all for a person being happy. I guess I get bothered by the 'announcement'. It's a little, :S, unimportant to be honest. There are some family members you should tell I suppose. Providing they haven't known for years longer than you (which they usually do). I mean, if you want to run a hot mk guy or hot guy contest, go for it. But the blue socks thing is really the point of the matter. The 90's are over, nobody cares if your gay, straight, or do old .45 records with lube. Just be happy with who you are, and don't worry what other people do. If a person of an opposite persuasion hits on you, don't be offended; be flattered. It means that you look good/have a good personality. Doesn't mean you are changing into anything you weren't already to begin with.
That goes for homo and hetero people.
I guess the whole closet thing is old. Quit trying to hide in it. Our generation has been overexposed so it isn't shocking anymore. Now if you want help for rights of gay marriage and need a signature, give me a ring. That's an issue. But you liking someone who will return your love is really not that big of a deal. Humans have been doing it for centuries. Such is life. And all you haters, knock it off, it just proves your insecurity.

And so must you be for saying that.
Alright I'll stop with the off topic comments now though...not that anything in this thread was ever really on topic anyway.

I got in them panties didn't I papi?
Mreheheh. No doubt.
What I'm goin on about, is it's pretty common to see "hipocrites" when it comes to this issue. I wasn't really referring to anyone in particular, just bothers me that people tend to get on the band wagon for that kind of lifestyle simply because it's different.

The fact is, though, that those who believe being gay is OK, tend to be haters toward those who don't. It's kinda funny.
The word homophobic is too often used to describe those who simply don't believe it is morally correct to be gay, while in actuality it should only be used for those who bash homosexuals for being homosexuals. Those are the real homophobs. The guys who are so insecure that they have to insult someone who is gay.
Personally, to some extent, I don't think it really matters whether I believe homosexuality is right or not. It's not going to change the fact that someone else is/isn't gay.
So, for the most part, I have to agree with ShoeUnited and say that it really isn't a subject that merits discussion at all.
So, your gay....no one really cares any more. This issue is pretty much dead.
And, it seems that every time this issue is even brought up, somebody has to get up on their holier-than-thou or I'm-a-guy-who-should-be-able-to-marry-a-guy soapbox, and rag on everyone who doesn't feel the same way.
It's time somebody puts their foot down and says "Who the hell cares, anyway?"
The truth is, only the fanatical and the whiners.

What's the definition of a gay man?? For some people ^this above^ So am I just a sterotyp? A man who longs himself to be a woman?
NO some gay guys are more MAN as a straight guy ever will be!!! and I am proud to be that!!! Do I look like one?
I mean this Klisches and Haters can damage someone really bad. So many try to kill themself. The people should think about that everybody is a human and what they can cause thru with such comments.

Or Texans. The level of Homophobia here is staggering. If you live in NY or CA, it may be a non-issue. But gay rights advocates are still fighting the good fight out here.

Yeah. I know it's hard, but try to keep up.
See, TheTinMan2005 already pointed out it was spelled wrong. So, in turn I decided to put it in quotes to emphasize that I didn't really care. Anywho that's pretty much all there is to it.
Like I said, I wasn't really pointing out anyone in particular, just the concept I was referring to really.

Am I wrong for saying the 'STERYOTYPICAL' gay male is STERYOTYPED to be feminine?
No I am not, because that is a true fact.
The truth of this situation IS nowadays, gay men come in different flavors. Some are masculine; some are feminine; some are in between.
I am gay, but I don't fit in the steryotypical mold people place gays in. I am very 'boyish', and no obvious characteristics about me scream feminine.
I referred to a very feminine man as a 'flaming gay fag', because in the gay community, those are the terms used by many to describe one who is very feminine.
The purpose of this thread is not to scream from the mountain tops "look at me i'm different and special" The purpose was to see how many gay men and woman play the game. Are we few or are we many? I for one would like to chat from time to time with my like members about the game, and I can't do that unless i know who they are. I have met a few through random IM and they have expressed an interest in knowing themselves. This was a way for those of us who are gay to meet each other for MK chat, nothing more. If you're NOT gay, why are you even posting in here? If you feel this thread is pointless, try checking out some of the other threads. 90% of them are pointless to me but I don't flame them!
It just proves to me that a majority of this games fans are immature.

Unquestionably so.
The entire MK franchise is aimed at preteens and is disguised as a game for the "mature" auidence to appease fuckwit parents and politicians, so it really shouldn't be any surprise to anybody if the fans were to be either of those.

WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!! RIGHT HERE!! Well, bi-sexual... but still!!! Finally, a gay pride thread!! Rock on everyone!

I don't think there have been any flames.... hmmmm.
I know I certainly wasn't. I just didn't see the point of it all.
Oh, and if the point of the thread wasn't to shout it from the mountaintops, then why does your subject say, and I quote, "Identify yourself and be proud."
instead of something less loud like, "where's all my gay MK fans?!, wanna chat?"
Identify yourself and be proud is like sort of like saying "scream for attention"
Edit* I was just trying to have a MATURE conversation with some THOUGHT, but I guess my lack of sensitivity toward those who give a damn must have offended someone.
