And, if people cannot just stay away from the thread and leave it to be what it was supposed to be initially, then they need to learn to control themselves. All of the negative responses here were unnecessary and unwanted.

People need to learn that homosexuality is as much apart of life as breathing. Live with and deal with it! It won't kill you!

Hey cool thread. I guess since this is allowed I can finally make my "White MK fans unite!" thread. I'm sure I won't be seen as racist. Especially if I post later on that "I made this thread because its hard to figure out who's white and I would like to communicate with those of my kind." This thread really needs to just be closed because it alienates straight people, just like straight people have done to the gay community since God burned down Soddom and Gamorah for being a city with a higher then acceptable homosexual count along with being overly peverse and sin infested (homosexuality was def not "correct" back in early biblical times).
Edit: My last comment about homosexuality in biblical times was meant to say that was a possible motive for the destruction of the cities. And the point that lead up to it was saying that straight people have been inhumane to the gay community and it seems this thread is alienating straight people.

The point of my reply is deffinately going to be pushed aside. Sexual preference means nothing to me. I'm not married to a man so I guess I am straight. Everyone has their preference to what they are attracted to and its really their business unless they feel like sharing it. And when they do share it, they probably have their reasons. Either way I don't care, but what bothers me is that because the topic is homosexuality, people don't know how to act quite yet. Homosexuality are the outcasts like African Americans were in the 50s. Its going to take America time to just say, "you know what they are still human beings with feelings like us." We're seeing people becoming more accepting with some of the latest shows on and movies. Am I wrong for thinking that threads like this are just going to get negative attention?

I am glad that someone had a flag go off in their head when they saw that this thread does nothing but segregate homosexuals and straight people. It's not like you're trying to find a soul mate online, and if you are there are places to go for that, MKO is hardly the place. So in my mind it only makes sense that MKO should be free of posts that contain subjects like, "Hey where are the MK lady fans!" , "Where are the Muslim MK fans!" , "Where are the straight MK fans!"

You can't honestly expect to post a thread like this without getting some serious negative feedback, so if all people are going to do is cry and complain about anything I say simply ignore it. I had the choice to ignore this thread, but I felt it important to speak my mind because I believe I have a relevant point. If you cannot justify commenting on my opinion then simply don't.

it's becoming a flame festival because bored people are making it that way. There is nothing complex about this thread people....It's really a very simple topic, and once again if it doesn't involve you, then don't post here! I do believe we've had a "who's the female fans" thread and nothing remotely like this happened. It's sad!

It's extremely obvious MKO strives to avoid negative confrontation. Look at their policy on religion. This site has nothing to do with religion but we are not supposed to talk about it because people are not mature enough to actually discuss it. This policy is similar to racism. Almost anywhere you go, you are expected not to alienate other races or ethnicities. You can't post in a public forum "African American's are the greatest people in America," even if your topic just glorifies African Americans. Why? Because there are those who read that and say, "I thought everyone in America is equal." Now the point of this fictional topic created could have very well been made to simply act as a positive place for African American's to talk about how proud they are of the struggles they have, and continue to overcome. But there will always be someone offended.

Now MKO is by far the most immature place I've ever been a member of, because instead of allowing controversial topics to be posted, such as people talking about religion, they say don't do it. My thoughts are, so what if flame wars begin? If you want to post mature threads, then you are obviously (or should be) mature enough to ignore all other comments. In life you have to shift through the bullshit to get where you want to go (which with you being homosexual I'm sure you can testify to this).

Why do they do this? To avoid confrontation with angry moms and dads because their child was called a "nigger" or "faggot" by some ignorant punk who should have been banned a long time ago. But the moderator’s are not God so they can’t stay ahead of this, which is why rules are established. Now I actually went through the community FAQ and found nothing about talking about sexual preference, but let’s use our heads here. No one likes to be singled out. Knowledge31u. After reading your post I see what you were aiming at by creating that thread.

Here's the thing, I feel threads like "The MK Ladies Thread" or whatever are harmless. Since it'sa a community board most topics are acceptable here. If a group of girls wanna have a thread all to themselves, then that's fine. Hell, there was a thread like that almost a year ago I think, although not many posted since there weren't that many female members at the time.

I think that you do have a point when you said that this thread segregates homosexuals from non, because of the views of those who may strongly disagree with the notion. I understand why "V" created this thread cause gays are a unique case. Where else can gay members discuss general stuff, even stuff related to MK amongst themselves?

I think that if they wanted to have a thread that catiers to other like themselves, then that's fine. However, that's not to mean that they should exclude others, cause that's just wrong!

I think having an "Asians, Hispanics, European ONLY Thread" is wrong. However since MKO is a community, I would like to learn more about the different cultures and ethnicities here. So if a thread along those lines were to be made, then I wouldn't have an issue with it.

I think where gays and girls having their own thread is fine. Of course straight people and guys might find it a bit difficult trying to relate to the subject matter of the threads, to say the least, but if no one is excluded then there shouldn't be a problem with it.

I'm not gay, but I'm definitely for gay rights across the board (all the benefits that straight couples get, marriage, etc). But the way our society works presents an interesting problem with getting to that level of gay rights. Homosexuals, and other minorities separate themselves and band together, which freaks out the majority. You have to realize the moral majority in this country are terrified of an uprisal. Haha, like if we let gays have the same rights as everyone, EVERYONE WILL TURN GAY!!! Narrow minds think like that. So to keep them down, the moral majority tramples the minority's rights and in turn, the minority feels they have to stick together. If we just let minority's live their lives with the same rights as everyone else, then all will be well. Everyone just wants to be treated fairly, that's all.

I see what you are saying but how relevant is homosexuality to MK? Yeah he proved homosexuals like MK just like straight people. This thread is pointless. Gay's are not a unique case. It is the convergent minds that frequent here that generally start flames. So for the sake of lucid minds and divergnet thinkers, they should be rendered irrelevant and ignored when they post immature, abbrasive and illogical thoughts.

See, that's the point though: Those against homosexuality bash them for grouping together and "flaunting it" but homosexuals group together because they're bashed and feel the only place they can be accepted is with each other. It's a double-edged sword.

Im not gay there is nothing wrong with being gay i find gay people are way more nicer then straight people its a fact...there is nothing wrong with being gay and i dont treat them any differently then i do a straight person.
