I agree. I also think the Marvel VS series (with the exception of MVC2) has some good music.

i cant stand the music in MvC2, it was horrible. the selection screen had this guy singing the words "GOING TO TAKE YOU FOR A RIDE" it was so annoying.

ROFLMFAO i know. Holy Shit, i was actually playing it the other day with my cousin and he took forever to pick his character. The selection screen music is so annoying.......actually i've always thought it was. I hate the tune and singing, it doesnt go with the game at all. Blah. LOL.

As for my favourite music in fighting games, it would have to be Soul Calibur and Killer Instinct apart from Mortal Kombat.

Killer Instinct, MK2, MK3, Street Fighter 2.

Completely agree. Thats why I excluded it. Same with CVS 2. The music didnt go well with the game.

I honestly can't believe I forgot both Rage of the Dragons and Power Instinct: Matrimelee as well. Oh and Guilty Gear is only good if you like generic rock music. Hyakkan (The Big) from Matrimelee is how you do metal in a fighting game. Same with Desert Requiem from KoF '95.

Super Smash Brothers Melee is my favourite fighting game with my favourite music in it. I love the Metal Battle and Final Destination theme. It doesnt make you childish at all for liking the nintendo themes, not one bit. I absolutely love it to the fullest and i'm damn right fuckin proud of it.
