i believe we are all ok with the term geek,right?
we post here..so we are geeks.

now many of us have girlfriends,right?

now either they think the whole obsession thing is cute or they got tired of the other guys.

maybe its the fact that geeks are now the norm...so if a girl wants a popular guy, she'd date a geek.

any comments?

i only thought about thsi because my gf does a really good job putting up with all my insane rambling about stuff

In all seriousness, maybe because we're funnier. Who knows? Most of the "geeks" I know that are good with girls are pretty funny.

I think it does depend on the type of girls, but most don't like men with egos to match their own (women's that is). Most of these "bachelor" type guys can't appreciate a beautiful woman because he's too busy getting off to his own body.

I think one aspect is the funny bone of a geek... Example: I know my girlfriend wasn't feeling to well today... and I said something funny (i don't remember what it was anymore) and she laughed and smiled and said "I didn't think I would smile let alone laugh today."

Anyway, she certainly can't like me for my ride... since its a 21 speed mountain bike haha... nor can she like me for the overall mula in my bank account because well... empty.

P.S. I smell better then you blade!

I guess there are 2 types of guys (i know there are more but this is my theory alright!!)

The technical (us geeks), or the mechanical (hotted up car blokes).

Chicks are just over guys who talk about their car so much. And it's more likely that a guy that is technical has a bit more intelligence. Some people may take offence to that, and it won't be like that in many cases, but in general I believe that it is!

We're also funny, and tend to listen more rather than grunt at their issues. We care more I guess and alot of today's girls want that.

I'm 25, a network administrator and have a great girlfriend. Intelligence and maturity is the key my friends!

There are two explanations for this sudden change of heart:

1)They got over those "bad boys"

2)They finally OPENED THEIR EYES and saw the bad boys weren't worth going out with as they were treating them like crap.

Haven't you been reading the "Bad boy" topics? Anyway, someone said that they're like guys from The Fast and the Furious and rappers.

The "bad boy" in my mind is: Wears lots of bling(the only bling I wear is STRICTLY the One Ring), maybe a piss ant attitude, has kind of a smug look on their face, "trend foward", and basically acting like a modern day gangster. I see them as complete and totally POSERS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've always liked nerdy looking guys. Actually the popular image of what's sexy has never really appealed to me. Neither does the whole bad boy thing. I guess because I'm geeky too.

Hey some of us could have just really "ugly girl friends". I for one am lucky not to have an "uhgo" and I also work hard to keep myself presentable, and not "geekey". I let my real self come through, not the part of my "spare time" which is pretty "nerdy" with all video games and computers. But the thing that I'm trying to get through is that girls aren't attracted to geeks, it's just that most geeks have ugly girlfriends, no offense.
