The MK series is like a log of shit. It feels good when its coming out, but its not fun to play with. Not fun at all...

MKGold -The Best MK Game ever!!!!
MKDA - So much effort and time was put into this and its really obvious, it may have its flaws but its still breathtaking.
MK1- I am a sucker for the classics.
Mk3- I love the idea of an apocolyptic invasion with cities being destroyed and only a hand full of people left to save it.
MkD- A very dark and fun game but it does have its flaws.
MK2- Like MKD. (Not that I don't love it, I do, it just doesn't surpass the others)

BTW, HERE'S why I love MK. 1.It's the ONLY fighter to offer Bruising, Brutal Fatalities, Gory Blood(MK might not have been the first to have it, but it uses it the best), Brutal DT's, Animalities, Intense stages that are so dark a dreary, the BEST characters in any fighter, the Darkest fighter ever, the darkest music, awesome story and each character has a depth much higher than any other fighter imo. 2.The kinds of powers that the characters have are just insane and are MUCH better than any other fighter.The only other fighter that I loved back then was SF and KI, SC a little bit, the others are all the same shit as far as I'm concerned.All they have is a fighting engine, whoopti doo, there's moer to that then just an engine. 3.I love the Mood of it, just so dark and creepy and just an atmosphere that is lacking in any other fighter. 4.ONLINE play, which last time I checked No other fighter has with the exception of DOA Ultimate(which sucks online, the lag is horrible) andGuilty Gear who nobody really plays, and SF which is also a laggy a bit.MK plays the best online out of all of them for the xbox and PS.So, thats another big important issue, I have met so many friends because I played them on live through MK. 5.I like a challenging yet simple control pad with a list of awesome special moves and fatalities for each character.I like a challenge but at the same time, keep it simple and fun.One thing that the old MK's and SF's have always done and yet are the two best fighters of all time! Alright mkf, I didn't want to get into anything with you, but when someone talks shit about DOA and says they wish they were Ed Boon, something is wrong.
First, how the fuck does MK online come anywhere near DOA online? Lag? MK would have lag if it didn't disconnect you the SECOND it jumps. Theres a reason why people have 1 or 2 disconnects on DOA when on MK they have (no word of lie) about 500. Now, lets compare the games good and bad points online.
Mortal Kombat Deception:
Good
- MK has it's fun moments.
- All my mates from here have it.
- That's all I got...
Bad
- Worst game EVER for lag. We don't see any because the smallest drop of it will cut both players from the game.
- Infinates, free-throws...bleh, gameplay in general.
- Wait, we can't play people out of europe? No wonder there about 3 matches going on a day.
Dead or Alive Ultimate 2:
Good
- DOA, along side SC, is the fasted, funnest fighting game out there.
- It runs so smoothly online, and of course it will lag if you run into lag, same as you would on any game. That's the players fault, not DOA.
- No cheapness, what so ever. If you do come across a throw-whore, you can easily time it and get out, and also a same-move-whore will get their ass countered.
- We can play the WORLD!! You can have a party with 8 people from all different sides of the world, without lag may I add.
- Like I said, 8 people in a party at once...games likes Winner stays on, Tournys and it even has a team battle mode online, so me and some mates can be on the same team.
- Tag mode and all those games settings OWN puzzle and chess.
- The ranking system is actully fair. One of the best I have seen on a game.occasional- Leifang vs. Kasumi on a beach in bikinis.
Bad
- You come across the occasional ass hole who moans at you for winning, but were used to that from Halo anyway.
- Erm...that's all I got.
That's just online, don't get me started on offline.
And finally...did you say you would like to be Ed Boon? No ammount of money is worth living with those eye-brows.

It's your connection then, not DOA - DOA is fine for me, MK on the other hand, like what DJ said, anything goes slightly wrong, and bam, your bpoth disconnected. At least on DOA you can't get disconnected no matter what happens.

I prefer MK to DOA, but DOA online would have to be better IMO, cus at least you can't be cheap on DOA too

Jimbo and DJ, if it's my connection thats weird because when I play Halo 2 worldwide, MK, Burnout or anything else for that matter, perfect online experience.I'm telling you DOA is laggy.And my connection is good, I live right near a verizon station, it's great hehe.The only times I have major problems with it is if there's a storm or a sudden loss of power.I have never had a problem with any other game from a lag point of view.

But DJ, I will see if I can get it again for a cheap price, what is it now?Like 20 bucks or somthing, like MK, I know all the fighters are cheaper now.

I used to like MK because of the feel. After MK3 the games weren't the same. Then once MKD came out, I lost all interest.
